We keep going back

Not much changes there, but my kids enjoy the learning experience each year we visit. They understand more about the interactive things each time as they keep getting older.

We received complimentary tickets with our stay at Kalahari. We arrived at 7:20 for the 8:30 show and were seated in the general admission to the side of the main stage in about the 4th row. The seats were perfect for the Water portion of the show which was the first hour. We loved the waterski show and felt it... More

The attractions were fun and kids and adults in our group enjoyed them, staff is friendly. Shadow room and bike ride, were favorites. Moderate price compared to other attractions. Took us an hour or more!

I vaguely remember this place as a child. I think some of the exhibits may have been there when I went, but my son had a great time. He's only 6 but has an interest in science and space. We spent a lot of time reading the experiments, trying them out, and exploring. It was well worth the time and... More

We went here with our four children. We spent a good 2 1/2 hours, but it could have been longer if we had time. Many other families ran threw only interacting with a few of the stations. We hit almost every one. They have a lot of things you will see in other Children's museums, but unique things as well.... More

All I can say is, meh. It was very touristy. It had a couple neat things like the star room and the magnetic puzzles. I don't know if I would go again.

Multiple acts in the nearly 2 hour show (waterskiing, boating, magic, feats of strength). No a bad show, very family friendly. There were some highlights that we enjoyed, but overall I would have been disappointed if I had spent $20 or so per ticket. We had 'free' tickets as part of our resort room rentals.

We really enjoyed our visit to the Exploratory! We let each of our 3 children choose a day trip activity, so it wasn't really surprising that our son the science nut, chose this place. It was clean, organized and very comfortable on the hot day we went! Plenty to see for the whole family, but I wouldn't think it would... More

Reviews that I read had me skeptical. I actually had free tickets, so I thought what the heck...we were using it to fill time between other plans. The only disappointment I had was that we only allowed ourselves an hour here. Hubs and I enjoyed it as much as the kids! It's fun, with challenging puzzles and illusions. It teaches... More
