We took a family winter break, trying out a new place to ski in the Midwest. Granite Peak, I would rate Very Good skiing for the Midwest. Variety of skills levels in our party, plenty of hills, and lifts were adequate. Snow was typical Midwest...More

We have been to Granite Peak about five times already and we like it a lot. This is a very good skiing option in Midwest comparing to other resorts. It has a lot of different trails and pretty good vertical drop so everyone can find...More

Skiing itself is good. Nice variety of runs for different skill levels. Line to buy tix took over an hour for line of not more than 10. Procedures need work. Then no one seemed to know anything about rest of facility. Asked 3 different people...More

Friendly staff, nice easy runs for beginners and some big ones for the intermediates! The electronic scanners are a pain though. We enjoy coming here every year.

Skiing before Christmas surprisingly good! Snow conditions with mostly man made snow were great. Love the South facing sun deck!

I am a season pass holder. The early opening this year, thanks to the great snow making ability, is a testament to Granite Peak's desire to make it the best ski hell in the Midwest. Apres ski and season activities make this a must stop...More
