There is a relatively easy and short hike up to Brady's bluff which gives a great view of the Mississippi. We were camping in July and it was very mosquito-y and hot, so I might not recommend that time of year, but the sites are spacious and private. We had thought we'd go canoeing but it was just too buggy... More

We arrived in Trempealeau when the Catfish Days celebration was going on and took a detour to get to the campground. The camp office had kindly called us a day or two before to let us know we would not be able to come in the normal entrance. The campground is better suited to smaller campers and tents. Our 40... Although we didn't spend a lot of time here as we just stopped when we saw the signs for the park, it seems like a nice park. It was $11 for a day pass as we were out of state visitors. We drove the park roads and made a stop at what was called the Nature Center. It was not... More

Nice park, great hiking opportunities, quiet park, sites are decent size, wish speed signs were posted at 10 mph throughout the camping area - many cars were driving way too fast through there.

Several nice trails leading to gorgeous views. Can rent kayaks or canoes to take around a loop. One of my favorite parks.

Camped here a couple of evenings in early May. We took part in a park activity with the Rangers designed for young kids and it was great! Fun to see things like this offered. Bathrooms were kept very clean and the campsites were all very nice. Trails were amazing and offered some great views.

I camped here when I was a kid years ago and I always remembered it as a great state park, I took my family here the summer of 2015 and it held up to everything I remembered. This area of Wisconsin is just beautiful. There are wonderful views of the Mississippi and surrounding hills. Excellent hiking that challenges and rewards.... More

Brady's bluff trail: Breathtaking in both physical and emotional sense! We opted to do this trail because we prefer uphil/downhill trails rather than flat ones. We started by the East (ascending views of the river through narrow paths), after reaching the top and watching a group of beautiful golden Eagles flying over us and the peaceful view of M. River,... Right on the Mississippi...historic, and full of beautiful trails with views of the bluffs on both sides of the river, and bluff trails that give spectacular views!

The best place to go hiking, snow skiing, camping, picnics, canoeing, fishing and sight seeing. The town it is in is also a very cute place to visit.
