While staying in the Three Lakes area we keeping hearing about the Three Lakes Winery. During a rainy day we decided to head into town for a tour and lesson in wine making. We arrived at a very busy place. The converted train station made for a beautiful tasting room and retail space. The tour however, was less than 10... More

While a visit to the Northwoods my friend suggested that we come to Three Lakes Winery. She had never been there but was recommended by another friend. We were both so happy that we made the drive over. When we got inside we were very surprised to see that you can taste up to 6 wines for FREE and they... More

What a fun, informative visit to end our stay in Eagle River! So interesting to learn about the wine making process! And then to taste samples of various DELICIOUS wines that it was hard to pick a favorite. A memorable experience for our family which included grandma and two adult children.

The wine tour was great and very informative! The wine tasting with friends was even better! We all got to taste 6 wines each. We took turns sharing so we could taste them all. My favorite was the Cranberry Rhubarb! Would definitely do it again!

Ok, we've all seen these places along the roadside. Little wineries that are far from special. This place is nice but, forgive me sounding like a wine snob, not pretentious. They make decent "tourist wines". They don't act like they are Italian, French or from Napa valley. For the most part, they make their own wine. They offer taste test... More

They had a very good selection of fruit wines and some grape wines. My wife and I each had six pours for free. Every sample we tried was very good!! The only discount we were offered was .25 off per bottle on 6-12 bottles. Purchased three bottles at 12.99 and some cheese and sausage. Later went to Pick and Save... More

We travel to Northern Wisconsin once a year with teens and grandparents. We mostly go to familiar places and towns in the Minocqua, St. Germain & Eagle River area. This year we branched out and drove to Three Lakes. It was worth the drive for the excellent facility and wine tasting. The teens browsed the gift shop while we tasted... More

We stopped while in Three Lakes. It is a nice neat building. We had to wait a few minutes for room to open up at the tasting bar. The worker gave us a brief history and we were able to select 6 wine samples. The wine was pretty good, but most were pretty sweet. There was no particular dry to... More

We love to return to Three Lakes Winery. They have a good free wine tasting and fun Wisconsin products. The staff is very friendly and helpful. My only request would be for the option of purchasing a glass of wine to enjoy outside!
