We drove from Kansas, stayed 2 nights hoping to see the Northern Lights. It was interesting that the people that live in the area, are not interested or have never seen them 💯‼️Had a delicious Walleye dinner at Grizzlies restaurant.
We did visit Pattinson State Park and saw the waterfalls. Beautiful part of the country. We’ve always gone north to Michigan, Upper peninsula. Wisconsin to cheese factories, Lake Michigan German town etc. Absolutely beautiful part of the country and we will be back💯🙏

Desk of President Coolidge. Authentic aboriginal hunting equipment. The photographer who did the photos of the survivors of Custer's Last Stand was based in Superior. If you live in Superior or find yourself with three hours...the docents are terrific. The gift shop is worth it, especially if you have roots in America

I wish I had had more time to simply listen to the staff discuss the history of Superior. They were very laid back and welcoming of my questions.

Very small, very cute museum. The employees are more than happy to escort you around and tell you what they know. Very very well done. Events happen here as well so be sure to check the calendar for topics that interest you.

This place is one big open air room -- like a dance hall -- with individual exhibits along the walls. You can walk around at your own pace or request a docent to accompany you. There is alot here, and they love to tell you about it. Questions are welcomed and answered with as much enthusiasm as folks can muster.

The Museum's collection of local history is held in a great old building with a really impressive mural on the exterior back wall. My favorite is the extensive hat collection. The "History Theater" performances of high quality original work are worth travelling a long way to see, too.
