There were a couple long granite bars with stools and some tables and chairs. The wine tasting was $5 for five wines and $1 for each additional wine. Very friendly staff. There was a laid back relaxing band playing so a good place to chill and listen to music and taste wine. They offered oyster crackers. Definitely an enjoyable experience.... More

I completely agree with a previous posting about not letting the industrial-looking exterior of this winery fool you. There are some seriously good wines to be sampled here and, if you're lucky enough to have Peg doing the pouring, attentive and personable assistance.

Ever since our first trip to Door County over a decade ago, we always stop at Red Oak. We absolutely love the wines here! My husband buys a case of their Cherry Beaujolais each time. Everything about the winery is perfect, the wine, the people who work there, the seating while you taste, the big, open room where you can... More

Don't let the outside deter you from coming here (we almost did), this is a good winery! It's actually the only one in all of Door County that has seating. Good wine, nice staff. Definitely recommend

Stopped in on our way up to door county, the building looked nice and has a big back room where they produce and have seating. We were the only ones in there and Peg was very hospitable during the tasting. The wines were $20-30 a bottle on average and we only liked a handful. It was a nice place to... More

Really enjoyed this winery - knowledgeable staff, friendly service, lots of options, and a comfortable venue. Don't be discouraged by the industrial location or exterior...there are good wines inside. Looking forward to coming back!

Well crafted wines, elegant port, but lacks ambience. Some wines a little pricey. Could use more wine related items.

This winery does it all. Pleasant atmosphere, they take the time to educate you about wine, and being there when there is live music makes our visits extra special. Be sure to talk to Jeff. He will make sure your experience is positive.

Unplanned stop but worth it. Our server was very friendly, really discussed the wines. Nice atmosphere, a band was playing. Bought a couple bottles

We were greated as we walked in, offered a seat, and given a menu and pen to rate our tasting. The staff was friendly and added fun facts about the wines instead of just repeating routine facts that everyone else spouted. We found ourselves sticking around a bit longer to chat and learning a bit about the area. This was... More
