This winery is off the beaten path but sure worth finding. There aren't too many signs. The building is lovely with a nice patio and beatiful yard to enjoy. We sampled several wines and were very pleased so we purchased a couple of bottles. We even returned on our way home to pick up a few more! Enjoy.

We were a bit reluctant to stop here because their wines are California varietals. We typically like to get locally sourced wines only. However, we did stop for a tasting and enjoyed every sample we got. Staff was friendly and we felt safe with the social distancing measures. We ended up having a glass of wine after outside. They have a patio but also a garden area near the pond with a bench. We enjoyed our wine and a good view!

A little ways off the main highway, this winery is in a very pretty location along a river. The inside is quite beautiful, with a very large tasting bar which we happened to have all to ourselves during our visit. The server was pleasant, knowledgeable, and as we were discussing our tastes in wine, spontaneously gave us an extra sample because he thought we'd enjoy it, which we did. The deck out back overlooking the river and vineyard is very nice, we took a break out there although we weren't able to drink more wine, as we were traveling on a motorcycle. The clerk kindly offered to let us leave our purchased bottles on the counter until we were ready to leave so they weren't sitting out in the sun, and wrapped them for safe travel. I'd like to come back when we have more time to relax and enjoy their outdoor space.

This place has good wines and things to shop for. A nice deck and yard for in the summer and fall. Nice to sit on the deck outside with a bottle of wine. Would’ve given five stars but we encountered by a rude staff member once and it made our stop so unpleasant.

Nice looking place, with nice informative people, but we felt uncomfortable. Other places give you the samples and let you sit down. Here we had to stand at the bar and have each one poured after we tasted it. We asked to get some cheese and sit but they basically said no. Again nice people, but it was informative not relaxing.

We stopped at Simon Creek on our way out of Door County and wish it would have been our first stop on the way in. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and made you feel like family. The owner was also present and took the time to talk to us. The overall experience was excellent and the wines were great too! I convinced my family to stop and they were hesitant after having a horrible experience at Stones Throw. We’re all glad we stopped and walked away with lots of wine because we were happy to support an amazing business and their great employees. We highly recommend this place and it should be one everyone’s list of stops!

Would give them a zero if we could. They were unreasonable about masks wearing when your there to drink wine. Unrealistic expectations beyond safety. Place was completely empty and now we no why. Wasn’t worth the time, poor service or wine.

Our daughter took wedding photos here five years ago. With wins and cheeses, everyone had a wonderful time enjoying a perfect fall day. COL Laurie was still there and helped make this a memorable day. Sadly, he has passed and, while we missed his hospitality, his son happily is cut from the same cloth. He was most welcoming as we came back for the five year anniversary, this time with children. Another perfect fall day and the colors were splendid and with a bottle or two of Tempranillo, it made for another beautiful and memorable day. Many thanks! And that’s why Simon Creek is our favorite winery in Door County. It is a special place!

My wife and I stopped at Simon Creek during our recent visit through Door County.

Everything about our trip to Simon Creek winery was superb. I loved the somewhat rural location of the winery; offering a bit of a break from the urban style wineries that are more common in Door County.

The wine was quite good. I especially enjoyed the cherry wine. We purchased 4 bottles.

Always enjoy going to Simon Creek winery. There are many good wines to choose from. The service is great as they explain the wines. Had a great conversation with the hostess. Brought home quite a few bottles that we enjoyed.
