Going through this was like gluttony for my eyes! 1. Infinity Room----Nice! (If you are afraid of heights this is a no-no.) 2. 1st section----Interesting. (A little musty and claustrophobic and dark.) 3. 2nd/3rd section----CRAZY, BIZARRE, AWESOME! (sensory overload.) If you want the best experience go through all 3 sections. A little pricey. For me WORTH IT! Bring comfortable shoes... More

Been there a couple of times. Always a new experience. Visited just before Christmas. Unbelievable. I have no idea how they know what goes where. So many Christmas displays its boggles ones mind. Do not miss this attraction if you're in the area. But they are closed after Christmas for a few weeks, so call to be sure they're open.

I called a hotel near the Frank Lloyd Wright home Taliesin, WI. It was called "The House on the Rock Resort." It is .8 miles from Taliesin. The hotel was full. I was referred to "The House on the Rock Inn", instead. I called the number which they gave me. There was availability and I booked a room. The price... More

While there is quite the impressive collection of eccentricities and oddities, we felt it was extremely overpriced for what you see. The house is old. I'm talking shag carpeting, worn out cushions, dirty dilapidated carpet, dated kitchen old. That would be fine within itself, but the place is seriously dusty and dirty, dank and dark. For all the money they... More

We came to this attraction for the first time New Years Eve. It's a facinating attraction. The grounds are well kept and if you ask questions of the staff. They are well educated. We visited as part of a New Years package with the House On The Rock Resort. Highly recommend visiting.

The trip was interesting. It was a comglomerate of various collections. The place smelled musty in places. It is good to visit once but I would not go back there.

Most unique collection of items that I have ever seen in one location. The Infinity Room was a 'must see' and gave you an eerie feeling as you walked out on it suspended in mid-air.

The visit to the House on the Rock is a time warp to 60's or 70's. It's interesting but at the same time quite oppressive. The views from the Infinity Room are pretty impressive. The house itself is not stroller accessible so I had to carry our little guy all the way. But we have now seen the house, no... More

This place is difficult to fully describe--you really have to experience it for yourself. We walked through the entire thing and, although it may not look it from the outside, this place is huge! We spent over 2 1/2 hours inside, and we could've spent even longer. There is so much to see that at times it's almost sensory overload.... More
