We rented a couple of kayaks from Bay Shore Outfitters, and we had a wonderful experience! The staff was incredibly helpful, they got us loaded up with paddles, personal flotation devices (PFDs), kayaks and pads to rest the on the roof. They also strapped the kayaks down and sent us safely on our way. We had the kayaks for 24 hours, and we were able to kayak a couple of places in The Door. We've rented other items from Bay Shore in the past, so we knew this experience would be great, and we were right! Thank you, Mark and team!! We'll see you all again soon!

Do yourself a financial favor and use Bay Shore Outfitters. As a 50+ year visitor to the County, I've seen the pop-ups versus the real deals, and Bay Shore is a steadfast business that has earned respect year in and out. So, a real deal! Chill workers, very helpful, you get a serious bargain on multi-day kayak rental. Also has a fantastic store for clothing, supplies, gear etc. Top of the hill Sister Bay and will set you up for fantastic paddling. This should be your FIRST choice! They've earned my respect, and MANY others. Happy paddling everyone! Bay Shore first=wise decision. Salute!

The staff was fantastic. They helped us get the 2 kayaks on our roof, showed us how to keep them secure and then helped remove them when we returned, always with a smile on their face. They were very Covid aware and I felt safe working with them. If I need a Kayak again, i will use them.

We had paddle board lessons for our family of 5 with Susie. She was great, able to instruct us and got us off and paddling, no small feat for some of us who are not so athletically inclined ;) . It was super nice to have her take pictures and videos and send them to us afterwards. Highly recommend!

We had 2 single kayaks and a paddle board delivered to our house we rented for a week on the bay side of Sister Bay. A young friendly gentleman delivered and picked them up promptly. They were all high quality and in great condition. We would definitely rent from them again.

I rented a kayak on short notice. They were helpful and informative. The delivery to the cabin I was staying at went off without a hitch. Great equipment. Life jacket was brand new. Highly recommend!

I think this was our fifth year in a row that I rented a kayak for a week. Absolutely wonderful service, excellent kayak - together made for a great week on Lake Michigan. Thank you Bay Shore!

Wonderful and welcoming staff with great expertise. I have purchased outdoor gear, rented stand up paddle boards, and participated in events they have sponsored. I will always recommend them and forever be coming back!

Absolutely perfect. We rented a paddle board and two tandem kayaks. They were delivered and picked up right on time. The delivery service is delightful and saves you so much time and energy. The entire staff was helpful in setting up the rental, the delivery and pick up. Very happy customers.

We ordered paddle boards to enjoy during a vacation stay. Equipment was great quality and delivered to our rental house as promised. The owner, a local resident, delivered it and shared some recommendations for restaurants and outdoor activities- bonus! Would definitely use them again on future visits.
