We went out on the deaths door boat ride on Tuesday. Was awesome. On Thursday we took a sail boat ride with captain James and Padon it was beyond wonderful. The young men were wonderful and we enjoyed everything. Learned about the boat and they explained for us to understand. They really had to help me get up but they knew just what to do. We will be back for sure and we will request both young men again. Was a wonderful experience

This is an impressively beautiful marina, with incredible views of the harbor, water, and resorts lining the shore.
It is easy to get to with ample parking and easy walking distance to many shops and restaurants in Sister Bay.
Great place to take in the beautiful views, boats, or just sit and relax by the water.

We enjoyed dinner at Sister Bay Bowl and then took a short walk to the marina for sunset

This was a very cool setting. We ate at a restaurant across the street and the view was so cool. We also chartered a boat out of here that was really awesome

I don't really care about boats, but this was really impressive to gaze at. Spent a good half hour checking out the boats.

Just looking at the boats made me want to take a tour up the west side of the bluffs. It's a different view than from the road! The guide kept us informed and laughing. I learned to much and had a great time. Another trip to plan for next time.

The marina has two cement launch areas. One side is for loading, the other for launching. Each has room to accommodate two boats launching, or loading. Cost is $8.00. The ample trailer parking is about a block away. The marina has Slip accommodations with water and electric, etc. Like other marinas, you should call ahead to reserve a transient slip. Quite a few permanent slips of different size are in the marina. Cost vary by size. I’m not sure how many, if any are available. Fuel is available. Marina is staffed in season. It’s a nice facility, and is adjacent to a large park, and beach. Quite a few restaurants are within easy walking distance.

Every where we boat, you can get a transient slip for a few hours to walk the town or go to lunch. Here, they collect a minimum of $10 Just to tie off. There is very little within walking distance, a famous restaurant, but not much more. The staff was not friendly and the slips were very tight. Will not return, not worth the hassle.

I am sorry you were disappointed in the fee that we collect for a temporary tie up. Not sure if you were looking for something specific but we have over 14 restaurants within walking distance of the Marina as well as many other shops, coffee shops, ice cream parlors etc. We also offer complimentary transportation to other restaurants and grocery stores that are not within walking distance. We charge a small fee for our temp tie ups to help cover the costs of using the marina amenities, i.e. restrooms, power, water, etc. In the future I would encourage you to make a reservation to ensure you get a slip that can accommodate your size vessel comfortably. We have many slip sizes to choose from. And I apologize if you felt our staff was not friendly, we take great pride in delivering exceptional service and I apologize if we failed to to do so with you.

If I had a boat I would dock it here! Ha! We walked around the area for a while. Lots of different boats. Mostly private but some small and larger charters and sightseeing boats.

Arguably the most beautiful, pedestrian-convenient and pet-friendly waterfronts in Door County...its southern end is a grassy park-like area with a band shelter and to the north is a marina crammed with boats of all kinds that you can literally walk up to. there are frequent events throughout the year from music to children's events to classic boat shows. Always very civilized and relaxing. You can sit on a bench at either end of the waterfront and just relax or you can walk to the shopping and restaurant areas nearby as well. Very clean and orderly...truly a gem.
