My husband, daughter and I headed out of town for a little day trip. I had seen the Lottie Cooper here and we wanted to check it out. It is easy to access, even for individuals who have trouble walking. Walking through it is like walking through history! There is information plaques throughout and they are a fun read. This is a cool spot to bring kids to introduce them to a touchable piece of Wisconsin history.

This is a cool place to stop off on a road trip or if you're in the area. We were at Deland Park and since it's located right there, we had to walk through. It's surreal to be able to walk through a piece of history right on land, the only problem was that the signs were so worn we could barely read a thing and didn't learn much about what actually happened to the ship.

We really enjoyed this free activity! It’s across from the YMCA, so the parking is busy. It’s still worth the stop to go see what remains of this sunken ship. Unfortunately, all of the information boards are worn out so you can’t read the details.

Don’t go too far out of the way, but it’s an interesting peek into history. Surrounding area is very nice and a beach is in walking distance. This is a lovely town with great restaurants.

This shipwreck is on display on Sheboygan’s waterfront. It’s easily accessible and there is plenty of free parking nearby.

It would be nice if they had more historical information on display, that you could read. Some of the displays were either weather worn or vandalized to the point of eligibility.

Shipwreck is a nice quick stop on Sheboygan's Lakefront to learn some of Lake Michigan's shipping and shipwreck history.

It's just a stop on a stroll through the park. Worth stopping to read about and see a thoughtful reconstruction of a ruin, but it's a partial boat shell and not something to go out of your way to find.

There is nothing to see. It is about the story of a Family, the Harvesting of Christmas Trees, the Trip to Chicago to sell the Trees, and the sinking of the ship. Get the book at the Library.
Sheboygan has a wonderful library!
