This is a store that has been around for 50 years or more. The saying 'if they don't have it you don't need it' certainly applies to this fun shopping experience. From ladies unmentionable to model airplanes, they have it all. Narrow crowded aisles just add to the fun. Be sure to plan on lunch at several restaurants within a... More

Recently, I was lucky enough to visit a friend in Sheboygan Falls and when she took me on a tour of this quaint town. One of the well-known sites was a department store called Evans. It was such a cool store! They have been in business since 1936. I think it has everything you could think of, or close to... More

No matter what you are looking for, chances are that Evans will have it. Not only are the shelves filled to overflowing, but the aisles are as well. Evans carries some very nice clothing, toys, greeting cards, craft supplies, candy, bedding plants, makeup, etc. While some of the other Evans stores have closed with time, Sheboygan Falls is fortunate to... If you were shows for a gift at the last minute, this is the place. They've more toys, games, crafts and misc stuff in one place than I've every seen anywhere.

If you can't find "it" - whatever "it" is - at Evans, it doesn't exist. Say you want a widget. Not only will Evans have a widget but they'll have several to choose from. They also have an excellent selection of women's clothing - the kind you'll actually want to wear - at reasonable prices. When you go, plan to... More

We absolutely cannot come to the Sheboygan area without a trip to Evans (Evanoffs as my grandma used to call it). It is a wonderful old-style department/five and dime that has absolutely everything in it Inventory must be a nightmare! But it is paradise for us. We always have to set a budget otherwise I would blow through hundreds of... More

If you can't find an item at any other store, go to Evans. The isles are narrow and the staff only semi friendly but the store everything from toys & games to clothing and ironing boards. They also carry a a big selection of decor for every season.

Over the July 4th week, my grandchildren from Oregon spent 10 days in Sheboygan. We did TONS of cool things together. But when the Thank You notes arrived, they said "Thanks for taking us to Evans."

This is a small town's answer to big town shopping. It is a true variety store with everything from penny candy, to a full assortment of flowering plants in the spring. They make it a point to carry just about any toy you can imagine - plus more than a few you have never heard of. Aisles are packed to... More
