Not Just for Children

What a lovely place to take a stroll! The flowers were lovely and finding scenes from our favorite children's books was fun.

I really thought it would be more than what it was. Went here on a field trip with my daughters class. Did not have enoufh time to see everything. Some of the areas were neet but others were just ok.

This is a pleasant spot for kids and adults. The gardens were well cared for and the idea of having the relationship between the plantings and children's books was creative. No charge, and a nice 20 minute walk if you are in the area. The kids will enjoy it.

We weren't 2 blocks away when our grandkids, ages 3 and 4, asked when we could go back! This is so beautifully done...both for children's eyes as well as grandparents. Hard to believe there is no admission fee, but you will want to leave a donation! We spent almost 3 hours there, including the time for a picnic lunch. There... More

Bookworm gardens is a hidden gem in Sheboygan. It is very colorful and whimsical. It has a number of paths and exhibits at the end of each. There is a small gift shop in the middle, with restrooms. Parking is limited, with perhaps 20 spots. Well worth a trip.

Our children loved our time at the Gardens. Such a neat idea and simply gorgeous setting. It is peaceful and serene. With all the nonsense in the world today this was a nice place to getaway from it all and just enjoy our daughters playful curiosity as we roamed the gardens.

A beautiful, imaginative, clever and very interesting garden that appeals to all ages. Layouts of nursery rhymes that adults can identify and kids can learn.

This is a beautiful storybook land. You will not find something better for the price, donations accepted. It is truly incredible, a children's paradise.

The Gardens are great for anyone who likes gardening. For those with children or grandchildren it is just wonderful. To be able to walk around the gardens is inspiring. You can read the stories of each path. Best place to go with children to get them interested in books and the outdoors.

Our friends and my wife and I were in Sheboygan fora three day outing and our friends read about Bookworm Gardens and thought we should visit it. The four adults went there for an afternoon visit. WHAT A NEAT PLACE! The Gardens were layed out really nice and we thoroughly enjoyed our 2 hour visit. I wish my 41/2 year... More
