Went to the gardens with my mother in law, daughter and grand daughter. A four generation trip. My 4 year old grand daughter called it the "forest of fun". If you love to read books to young people, this is a wonderful place to explore!

Beautiful plants and foliage. Our kids are still young enough that everything kept their interest. I would like to see them offer beverages and snacks for sale.

I 've heard from friends for years about the delights of Bookworm Gardens and finally had the chance to visit for the first time. My kids, their grandparents, and I loved it. Many wonderful scenes from books are displayed along with activities for the kids to interact and enjoy them. There are also laminated books that go with the scenes... More

It was a little bit hard to find, since it is on the UW-Sheboygan campus. There is also construction around that made it hard to get off of the highway to get there. This is such a great place, for children, flower-lovers, gardeners, and more. Books were available to read in all places, and there were chairs all around too.... More

I brag about this little gem in my hometown. Loved bringing my kids here when they were young. Now I take my friends with young children or my grand niece. A few years ago, our Girl Scout troop bridged from Brownies to Juniors here; it was really special. You can rent The Secret Garden for parties, which is a closed... More

The venue is free and open until dusk (the shop closes earlier). Rally suited for young kids (I.e. Under 8). The idea is clever, it is well-manicured gardens tied to children's stories.

One time when going thru Sheboygan, we forgot to stop. I will never hear the end of it. This is a must see stop. Very clever tribute to children's literature. It is breathtaking, fun and family orientated. Go.

An interesting collection of garden themes based on popular children's books. A good place to go to relax.

My husband and I don't have children nor our we that familiar with children's literature, but this place was still wonderful. I'm very very glad we stopped here. It made for a very calm morning walk. The park is beautiful and very well maintained. It was about and hour to explore the gardens. And only about ten minutes from downtown.

As a mom of a book worm I was amazed by the beauty of the gardens as well as the cleverness of the book themes incorporated. My 10 year old loved stepping into the story scenes to experience the books coming to life. This is a must see on your Sheboygan visit!
