Hubby stopped by to pick up some pasties. The pasties shop is just a stop and pick them up. We purchased many and our daughter took some home. So many to choose from and delicious.

I was so happy to see they have reopened now. The inside has been redesigned and they only sell frozen pasties now. That is the only way I ever bought them anyway. I love that they use locally sourced and organic food when possible. The meat comes from a local farm that raises grass fed beef. These pasties are grade A all the way. The assortment of flavor combinations is amazing and we love the Greek and Cornish (traditional with rutabaga).they are well worth our 30 mile trip to get them.

Great pasties. Every time I go to northern Wisconsin or the UP I seek out pasty shops. This is a very small place with very good traditional pasties. Their menu had a large variety, or maybe exotic varieties, they have frozen to take home. When I was there, the traditional and 3 other flavors were cooked and ready to eat there. If pasties are your thing then "eat at Joes".

I've been visiting Rhinelander, WI for the past 4 years and each time we come here we go to Joe's for lunch to have the pasties. They are just so delicious and a healthy well rounded meal...today I had for the first time the Thai Chicken pasty...OH MY it was loaded with veggies and mildly spiced, delicious. If you live in or near Rhinelander and don't visit this place you are missing out on some great food and people. If you come to Rhinelander or nearby for a visit, you won't be disappointed by traveling to get there and try ANY of the pasties and if it's a Thursday you'll be very pleased with the Bacon Cheeseburger Pasty....yummy yummy Definitely a must try and I bet you'll be back for more !!! BTW you can take some frozen ones home with you !!!
