This is a very lovely place to visit. Too bad it has to be in Racine. We have been on the road for 110 days and Racine has the worst roads of anywhere we have been. There is nothing here I can't get somewhere else...More

Only 144 steps but worth it. If you're into lighthouses, you're into this one. The view is great...Racine and Milwaukee in the distance even though we had an overcast day. An actual Fresnel lens is in the lobby which in its day every part had...More

Well preserved grounds on Lake Michigan. Ample parking, well maintained flowers and greenery, gentle breezes off the lake make for a pleasant stop.

Everything was very kept up and the facilities were in excellent shape for being 130+ years old. Not much else than a few good photo ops.

Spent an hour or so walking the grounds and taking photos on a bright sunny morning. The grounds are very well kept and the structures look terrific. A nice side trip.

We had a nice visit with our friends we have not seen in awhile. Racine is a half way point for us so it made for a nice day. The grounds are beautiful and worth the time to go see it.

Nice break on our trip. Beautiful view of Lake Michigan, interesting history and museum. Maybe we'll come back for the once-a-month climb up the lighthouse. (You need advance reservations.) Located just north of Racine, easy to get to, maybe a ten-minute ride.
