Nestled on the sandy shores of beautiful Lake Michigan, the Racine Zoo is home to some of the world's most remarkable and endangered wildlife. Enjoy our many interactive exhibits and animal encounters including Walkabout Creek, Barnyard Safari, Norco Aviary, and our Giraffe Encounter where you get to feed our two Masai giraffes. It's easy to immerse yourself in our wild place. Open every day of the year.

Small zoo, but beautiful location, awesome kids play areas and a great joey area to see kangaroos. If you have time take a trip to the zoo, especially with little kids.

This is a very nice small zoo. The setup flows well and it's inexpensive. We were there around noon and all the animals were out except the bears. It only takes a couple of hours to go through so it was perfect for us to...More

We have gone to the Racine Zoo once a year for several years now. We visited this year with two 9 year old girls and a 10 year old boy. Our favorite events are feeding the giraffe's at 11am ($4pp), feeding the camels at 11:30...More

This zoo is smaller than most, but such a nice place. It's along the lake shore with beautiful views. The animals were nice, and lots of interactive things to do with kids. There are some really nice park areas, and you can pet goats and...More

I have been to the zoo many, many times and do like it. For someone who is local and will likely visit more than once, I would recommend a membership as it is affordable and comes with animal encounter tickets foe aviary and giraffe feedings....More

We recently took our 10 month old to the Racine Zoo for the first time. This is a great size and was stroller friendly. She was able to see the animals from her stroller. She especially enjoyed the meerkats, lions, and the petting zoo section.

This is an old fashion, back in the day zoo. It's a smaller size zoo, with the animals closer than the 'big' zoo's. The buildings are old but have character. We were there on a Sunday morning and it wasn't crowded, another perk. It's a...More

We arrived at the zoo and immediately turned to the right to use the restroom. These seemed to be fairly clean and easily accessible. Then we headed to the Great Cat Canyon to look at the lions who were very easy to see. There are...More

The zoo has improved since the last time us was there but still don't like the price for the quality.

Racine Zoo isn't the most impressive zoo in the world. It's relatively small (though I've certainly been to smaller), not terribly convenient for us (but probably moreso if you live in the area), and there's no reciprocity with the Zoo Pass for Milwaukee County Zoo...More
