A lot of zoo in a compact footprint

This was my second visit to the Racine Zoo. I had visited nearly 20 years before when entry was free. Now it cots about $8 which is fine. I was quite impressed with cleanliness and the layout of the place. The exhibits are set up around a lovely walkway that will take you all through the zoo. There are areas... More

We had a great time looking at all the animals. The kids really enjoyed themselves. They also loved playing on the playground. That is definitely a plus at the zoo.

Racine zoo is one of my families favorite things to do when the weather is nice out. It is a small zoo which makes it great for little kids. My 2 years old favorite is actually the play ground but the the animals at the zoo are great to. They are continually upgrading and maintaining the grounds and have tons... More

Before November of this year (2016), the only zoo I knew about in the Milwaukee area was the Milwaukee County Zoo. In mid-November, while celebrating my daughter's second birthday, which took place on an unusually warm day, I decided to take her to this zoo since the MKE Zoo closed at 2 p.m. that day. As it turns out, Racine... More

Interesting collection of animals to see. Has a kids area that has a petting zoo, and things to climb on and touch, Modest admission charges.

I went to the Racine Zoo on a Friday morning in the middle of November with my grand daughter who is about 1 1/2 years old. I had not been to this zoo in over 10 years. We paid a $4.00 entrance fee and started our journey. We went down to the Kangaroo area and saw about six small kangaroos... More

We are so lucky to have a Zoo in our town. So few this size are left and ours is really spectacular. I've been going to this zoo all my life (I'm 67 now). I had Birthday Parties there when I was a little girl, my own son was a Volunteen there, and the events and Animal Crackers are just... More

Not all of the animals had enough room here. That was a little disappointing. The spider monkeys were pretty cool. They had a fossa, which was also cool, but it was next to the lion exhibit and seemed to be stressed about that. The lions definitely needed more room, although they did have toys to play with. There was a... More

What super cute and affordable zoo! We spent about 3 hours walking around and seeing all the animals. We went during the Boo at the Zoo event so there were some additional activities to do. I loved that it was a very laid back zoo and that you can get up close to the animals. And it has great views... More
