The setting was lovely. We sampled four wines for free and bought cheese and a $22 port to sip on one of the many the patios. They use their own grapes and also ship in and distill grapes from NY and The Pacific coast. The flower gardens were well groomed. The winery tour was on the hour and cost $5.

Decided to spend a weekend in the Madison area and started by visiting here. The tour was very informative and tour guide very knowledgeable. It was an unseasonably warm early spring day, so could enjoy a glass of wine and a snack outside. Great afternoon!

Wollersheim has been a favorite winery of mine for many years now. We recently took friends who had not been there before and they commented multiple times on the beauty of the winery. Great wines and friendly staff.

Hands down the most beautiful winery I've visited. Even in January it was exceptionally beautiful. Nice wines as well. We visited during a special event and it was very well organized. Can't wait to visit during the summer!

I hadn't been here in years and came out to see the distillery. Wow has this place grown! Holy Cow, the distillery tour! Costs a nominal fee, and the samples come at you fast! Brandies, gin, absinthe...woooo warm you up on a cold day! Actually the brandy is quite nice. Glad to see this place prosper.

the winery is set in the hills across the road from the Wisconsin river. It is very picturesque . The winery has expanded to making brandy and whiskey. It has achieved many awards for its wines and was once rated as the best winery in the US.

We've been with them as Case Club member since almost the beginning. Have watched them grow, expand, and add to their selections - never losing the quality of their product. And now we've taken our grown kids who also love it! Had a very special time after the Spring Case Club Tasting - gorgeous day, wonderful wine, chatting with Phillipe... More

I've visited many wineries, but this was hands-down the best I've ever been to. Not because of the wine (but don't get me wrong, the wine is excellent!), but rather, the tour, staff and overall experience was unlike any I'd had before. The grounds are beautiful and I only wish the weather had been nicer so we could have gotten... More

We were at Devils Lake, got a brochure for the Winery and decided to stop on our way back to Madison. When we got to the Winery, we realized we had an old brochure with incorrect tour times. So we decided to just do a tasting at both the distillery and winery and to walk up to the Cave. We... More

Set in a beautiful river valley with eagles fishing ,the tour is informative , The only problem you will have is deciding which wine to buy.
