This is a beautiful new urban park. Best assets: the bird sanctuary, flower gardens, location on the waterfront. Provides a great view of downtown Port Washington and the lake. Good place to take a walk.

We found the development of downtown Port Washington to be well designed and pedestrian friendly. We took our time walking around the harbor and especially enjoyed this area where we watched fishermen haul in a couple of 20 pound Chinook. Check it out.

Great place to take a stroll for views of the marina, Lake Michigan and the sunset. There is an area to the south designated as a bird sanctuary. Dogs are not allowed in the sanctuary area.

As the name reveals-this park used to be a huge coal dock. It is near Rotary Park which is near Smith Brothers. Ample parking and really nice to walk the entire area. Great place to walk and people watch. Lovely Restoration projects occur here.
