This park really makes this town. Easy access to downtown by foot or car. Wonderful promenade to sit and look at water, fishing, chatting with others, walking dogs viewing sailboats. Fantastic birdwatching spot with otter family. Look to the south on a clear day you can see Milwaukee. Walk through bird sanctuary to the south and there is beach access for wading and looking for beach glass.

This is a great lakefront park to take a stroll, it can be a little cold during the winter months. During the Spring & Fall, and certain times during the summer you'll see fisherman catching fish at the discharge area.

It was cold, very cold...But wrapped up warm it was nice to have a walk in the snow and see the guys fishing for trout. Impeccably maintained and no garbage...

This is a beautiful new urban park. Best assets: the bird sanctuary, flower gardens, location on the waterfront. Provides a great view of downtown Port Washington and the lake. Good place to take a walk.

We found the development of downtown Port Washington to be well designed and pedestrian friendly. We took our time walking around the harbor and especially enjoyed this area where we watched fishermen haul in a couple of 20 pound Chinook. Check it out.
