Very slow river, brown and seems dirty

The river was slow, easy to fall asleep. The water quality appeared poor. The staff was friendly and the price low. Very dense camping. Alot of drinking on the river. The... read more

Great place to go for a girls day out or a big group of people. Best time to go is when the water is high right after a rain. You can go down as many times as you like during the day or just pull off and hangout and take it slow. The bad part is that there are lots... More

The river was slow, easy to fall asleep. The water quality appeared poor. The staff was friendly and the price low. Very dense camping. Alot of drinking on the river. The restaurant was terrible! Be sure to bring your own food. Service was slow and surley, food was terrible. This was fine for one time, but would not return.

We live an hour and forty-five minutes away and I cannot belive we've never done this before! It was sooo much fun. The outfit is very organized and well run. The people are friendly and know their jobs. You basically pay per tube. It is a great value for an all day activity. They have two trips to choose from,... More

Pretty much as advertised, a nice way to kill 4 hours and drink some beers. There are plenty of people looking to get completely hammered on the river, so if you're dainty and don't want to hear cuss words, this may not be for you. One complaint I have was mentioned in the other reviews here: there can be times... More

I love tubing! This was a 2 and a half hour drive from home. I was originally booked at the Rustic Site which is about 2 and a half miles away from the main campground. They said there was a shuttle provided a few times a day. I called a few days as well as emailed back and fourth with... More

We've stayed at this campground for the past 5 summers with our friends and family and what keeps up coming back again and again is the lazy river tubing. It's very relaxing and any age can enjoy it. We alway pack snacks and beverages for the 2 hour tubing trip. Our children were middle school and high school ages. We... More

I have been coming here for 8 years. Started on my birthday and now we come every year with a group of friends. If you are coming with small kids, come during the week, weekends are for parties which is why we come. This is a nice adult get away without having to worry about little kids running all over.... The first year I started going with my family, and only a couple of us were 21. We had no idea what to expect coming here, but we have never had such a fantastic time camping. I started taking over the camping trip with my sister, and we made it solely about our friends. Now we consistently have a group... More

We came here on a family weekend trip with my brother and his family. Our youngest participant was 10, older kids in their teens. The camp site itself was very nice (we stayed at the Rustic Campground), however, the nightlife and the partying was NOT very nice. We hardly slept and strange drunk people kept showing up at our camp... More

PLEASE DO NOT EVEN THINK OF TAKING YOUR YOUNGER/TEEN KIDS ON THE RIVER TUBE RIDE!! Drunk 21-35 year olds, puking, comatose on a tube, swearing and polluting cigs/beer cans. Just a big frat party on the water. Very obnoxious! If you are into beer bonging this is the place for you. Can't believe the DNR puts up with this!
