Enjoyed walking the area, but coming from the NYC area, there was very little to see or do. There were a number of fun places to eat of have a drink.

A beautiful quaint area that combines restaurants and beautiful architecture. I don't visit Milwaukee as often as I used to, but when I do, I always enjoy this area.

Some cute stores and restaurants/cafes but nothing special. Chain stores are slowly creeping in. Best thing was the Public Market, with fun food offerings throughout.

I love this area. There are several good restaurants on every block, shops with a variety of different types of items and close to the River Walk. A very nice way to spend several hours!

Area under renovation where it is possible to find several restaurants different from the standards ones in the City. Anyway the food, usually typically American, is fine.

If you're in Milwaukee, this is a fun neighborhood walk through. It has an incredible market and many fun bars and restaurants. Most bars and restaurants have outdoor seating. It is a vibrant place to visit and a short walk from the Pfister Hotel.

I was pleasantly surprised by this area. Very up and coming, kinda hipster. Area is under major renovation. Great shopping and art galleries.

When we first moved to Milwaukee, some twenty-five years ago, there wasn't much going on in the Third Ward. Now, it is a hub for shops, restaurants, and of course, the Milwaukee Public Market. Clearly, this is an up-and-coming area of the City, and promises...More

I would go to the art museum and eat there. Pretty lake views even if art isn't your thing. And there are a couple of places to eat there that have good quality food.

I was there over the Labor Day weekend and they had a huge Arts and Crafts show, and live music. Their were quite a few family's there but the weather was perfect, what time of year are you going?
