We went there for Pokemon Go, but the park is beautiful. There is a lot of controversy surrounding the use of the park for Pokemon Go, aside from that the park is huge and has some great views.

Really nice clean well maintained park. Check out the lighthouse, really picturesque. I didn't eat there but did look in on the restaurant which looks really nice. Also checked out the folks playing Lawn Bowling.

Lake Park is a gem. Designed by the renowned Daniel Olmstead (think Central Park NYC and Chicago Park's "Emerald Necklace" ) and enjoyed by thousands ever since. There is a lighthouse, the last remaining Indian Burial Mound in the Milwaukee area (the others were razed for farming or housing), a waterfall, ravine trails, lawn bowling, playgrounds, golf, tennis, bluff walking... We intended on having a picnic at the park but it wasn't very relaxing considering the hundreds of people playing Pokemon Go. This place must be a Poke stop. I don't know or play the game but it was quite disheartening to see hundreds of people walking around a beautiful park with their faces glued to their phones. Didn't make... More

Excellent playground for children ages 5-12. Balancing, spinning, climbing. Really different. And swings!

There's a nice little park up the hill overlooking the lake. Very close to Bartolotta's Lake Park Bistro, which provides an excellent dining experience, as well.

Right on the lake front and if you pick the right hotel, just steps from your door. On the bluff above Lake Michigan, you will find various historical artifacts including a log cabin. As you walk down the hill, you will go by the Art Museum which usually has a fine exhibit related to Veterans. The park is spacious and... More

I was first introduced to LAKE PARK this past year during a photo shoot for a friend that was preparing to leave for Japan! We decided to check out the park and to our surprise we were astounded to the beautiful area hidden above Lake Michigan by trees! The road most traveled to gain access is closed due to the... More

A terrific place to admire Lake Michigan, but few places to sit [other than the grass] while you admire, and no place for kids to play.

I've been to Lake park several times. I went with my niece when she was visiting. We walked and talked and sat on a bench and talked, we watched people passing by with their dogs, on bikes, on skates and just strolling on a nice sunny warm day. We had a beautiful view of Lake Michigan, and of the little... More
