We catch a movie at the Oriental almost every time we visit Milwaukee! It is a wonderful historic theater. I do not like the huge multiplexes so the Oriental is my preference. It was sold to a new company and they have raised the prices...More

This is a lovely old historic theater on the east side of Milwaukee. It is well worth the time to take in a movie here; maybe even Rocky Horror Picture show!! I go here regularly and enjoy it every time.

Our family was in MKE over Memorial Day weekend and wanted to catch a show - what a gorgeous find! Arrive early to check out the ornate décor and detail in the lobby! The theater only offers three screens, so options are limited, but worth...More

The Oriental shows captivating films - including many from the National Theatre in London. Live performances from the UK - everyone should see these. Wander around and view the old movie posters and elephants on the walls. Oldest theatre in Milwaukee.

This theater is a grand old elegant movie house from a bygone era. If you enjoy watching movies that you won't find at the local cineplex and you like ambience , this is the place to go. Always a nice experience

Beautiful old theater that is in fine shape. Comfortable though narrow seats - not a problem when I am the only one in the theater. Indie movies.
