Parking lot adjacent to the Beach and Park area is available. There are also bathroom facilities near. The beach has a nice sand base in general but there are gravel areas. It has on-duty lifeguards during normal hours. It is pretty flat so walking along...More

The water is muddy and the beach is full of gravels. But the crowd is overwhelming. Also, there is free parking. The waves are high and the beach is not that much deep. So enjoy the lake water

Nice place to take the kids. Water is very cold but the kids enjoyed playing in the sand and watching the sailboats. Bathrooms are close & they have food stands right on the beach.

What a wonderful atmosphere! Lots of families and groups relaxing and playing at the beach. We were happy to find the beach bars and that you could take your drink on the beach.

The beach is huge and has something for everyone. Great place to relax and watch the waves rile in while waiting to go to Summerfest.

Free beach, clean water, life guards, lots of sand and volleyball. Great little spot we enjoyed for an afternoon.

We visited this beach on an overcast cold day. I an only imagine what it is like in good weather!! There are lifeguards, and whilst we were there, they were performing a safety drill, which was quite interesting to watch.

It’s pretty, but the parking is hard to come by, the water is sketch and in the evenings I’d be cautious.

Sun, Sand, and Water with volley ball nets and a bar. An urban jewel in Milwaukee. Pliantly of parking, miles of walking and biking trails with interesting vistas.

You can picnic so long as you don't bring glass. Parking is free and off street. It stretches down the length of the lake. As far as pool floats, not sure those are a good idea. This water is typically too cold to swim in... More

Dogs are allowed, but on the north end only, really. And they do need to be leashed.
