Visited from Chicago on a weekday. For $35 a canoe for a full afternoon (four hours), you can’t go wrong. In Chicago, you might get an hour for that price. They were completely chill and accommodating when we asked if we could return a half...More

A tad difficult to find, but a treasure once you are there. Easy in and out. Great friendly staff. We paddled up to Lakefront Brewery (about an hour away, 20% discount for MKC patrons), docked, had some appetizers and drink. Paddled back down and went...More

We recently went on a kayaking trip for Girl Scouts through Milwaukee Kayak Company. The company provided wet bags for purses and phones, which are definitely recommended. Attached to the kayaks was a map of where you could kayak. You could go both down the...More

It's so fun! Great company and staff! We went 3 times this summer and had wonderful times. Bring a wet bag if you can- we had someone fall in while after stopping for food and the Milwaukee river is pretty gross to be in! You...More

Milwaukee Kayak is a bit tough to find. It's located inside a sketchy place called Jerry's Boat Dock, but once you find it it's a pretty good experience. We rented two kayaks and were given 4 hours to explore the rivers of Milwaukee. The staff...More

Kayaking is such an awesome way to see the downtown and MKC is a great place to rent. Because their location is in the southern part of the river area you paddle out/up but essentially get to drift back with the current. They also take...More

This is by far one of the best things to do in Milwaukee on a warm day. We had visitors in from Chicago and we rented a few kayaks to see the sights downtown one afternoon, stopping for a few drinks along the numerous riverwalk...More

My 14 year old son and I took a kayak trip in August 2016 and had a great time. We are used to "floating" on Missouri rivers not in the city so this was very interesting for us! We took our trip during the week...More

No idea about three year olds but it doesn't seem like there'd be enough room? And GOD NO to the swimming! It's like bathing in brown arm pit juice. If you fall in find a hose!
