Description:

Lakefront Brewery is a leader in brewing the best beers in Milwaukee,...

Lakefront Brewery is a leader in brewing the best beers in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Specializing in lagers in their formative years, Lakefront has since released the first certified organic beer, gluten-free beer, as well as the first fruit beer since prohibition. A leader in innovation, Lakefront more recently released a beer containing only ingredients found in Wisconsin, including an indigenous yeast strain cultivated right here in Milwaukee. Riverwest Stein Amber Lager is the must try as it's the most popular craft beer in Milwaukee and the flagship that built the place. Beer aside, Lakefront is also known around the country for their highly entertaining and sought-after brewery tours. $8.00 gets you 4 6 oz. samples, a souvenir pint glass, and a coupon for Lakefront beer at one of many locations. It's recommended to buy your tickets online ahead of time, but tickets can also be bought walk-up for the next available tour.

My friends and I arrived just in time for the 2 o’clock short tour and we were not disappointed. For the low cost admission fee of $8 everyone received 4 beers at our choosing and a short comedic tour of the brewery. The tour however wasn’t so much of a tour as much as a lesson in how the brewery... More

Very solid selection of craft brews. Simple dining menu to compliment the character of this downtown establishment. I had people who were not particularly worldly beer drinkers eager to try the different flavors. They also have a very entertaining brewery tour!

We booked 18 family member for the day before Thanksgiving. We were so disappointed. We had a "tour guide" tell us about the brewery at the top of the stairs and then talk more at the bottom. We did not walk through the brewery. We will try other breweries before we come back here.

Good Friday fish fry with the best cheese curds in Milwaukee. Excellent beer and setting for a casual night out. German beer hall feel.

This is my kids' third brewery tour and the first I was embarrassed to have them attend. They are 10 and 14 and the sexual jokes were very uncomfortable. Definitely not a G-rated tour!! For adults, it was fun and entertaining.

Came to the tasting room because the tours were sold out. Every beer we tasted was delicious and the atmosphere is lively. Great place to spend a chilly afternoon! Bar tenders and gift shop staff were also very pleasant and obviously enjoyed their jobs. Definitely stop by Lakefront Brewery if you're in town!

My wife and I went on this brewery tour, by and far this was our favorite tour. We have been on others and this was the first to have a food pairing with different types of food. Our tour guides Bobbie and Omega were fun, knowledgeable about the process, and the food pairing. They were funny and handled all the... More

An informative and fun tour. Some business and some play made it fun and interesting. The large restaurant upstairs with communal table seating was a great finish.

Being from Colorado I pretty much think of myself as a brewery tour aficionado. This was a great tour. For a smaller brewery they had plenty of interesting facts and history, I really liked getting the vibe of the area. Our tour guide Josh did not appreciate texting during the tour, or my brother-in-law's sarcasm (picture Cousin Eddie) but that... More

You can do a meal and beer or you can also do the tour which I believe includes some drink tokens ..ethier way this place... More
