We arrived 1.5 hours before they closed so we did not get to enjoy every single feature of this outstanding museum. We especially loved the Streets of Milwaukee and the walk down the village of European homes. Well done!

We had a tremendous visit to the museum during our short stay in Milwaukee. We were there for several hours and could easily have stayed for several more. The number, size and scale of the diorama exhibits was awe-inspiring. The museum is beautifully laid out and very easy to navigate. A wonderful expereince for old and young alike. There is something... More

Took my wife, daughter and five grand kids (ages 4 to 13) recently and had an enjoyable afternoon. There is something of interest for all genders and ages. We did the planetarium which was excellent. We watched the Robot film but I found it dull and poorly done ( very dim 3 D) , but the kids seemed to enjoy... More

Great displays, with some great dioramas. There is also a butterfly exhibit, which was well done. This was a fun 2 hour visit.

Enjoyed a trip to the redone "Streets of Milwaukee" with 3 year old grandson and his reaction to the past. Loved the "moving" trolley then on to the other adventures of the past and the Butterfly room. Great travel time...

Spent over 3 hours there and honestly could have spent 3 days and still not see everything. Our 3 year old loved everything from the butterflies to the dinosaurs. The displays of the different countries and historical items was simply amazing. So much to explore. We will definitely be back!

When they added the IMAX I was excited thinking they would offer Title movies to their play list. Sad to say the only one that I know of the has ever been played there is "Polor Express". I was also pleased to hear that they renovated the "Old Wisconsin" exhibit that has been there forever. The rest of the Museum... More

We visited the museum with our children while visiting Milwaukee and thoroughly enjoyed it. The extent of the collection is impressive and they also feature several IMAX movies you can add to your admission if that's of interest. All in all a very worthwhile experience at the museum and we're glad we took time to visit.

This is an excellent small museum covering a broad range of subjects. I can highly recommend the 'Old Milwaukee' walkthrough exhibit which takes you back in time through Milwaukee's past as well as the butterfly room which is just a super exhibit and lets you get up and close and personal with our winged friends.
