They have three large domes and each one has a different climate. They way they had it laid out was wonderful and the selection of plants was spectacular.

the "Domes" are going through a rough time, only the Show Dome is open right now...but it still was a lovely place for a small family wedding. The wedding, reception and party was held in the Show Dome! Dinner was in the lobby area. For this small wedding, the Show Dome was just about perfect. There is a beautiful summer... More

Only 1 dome open. After hearing about this place for 2 decades from my wife, this was anti-climactic. They will open back up in the fall.

Only 1 dome was actually open to the public... even though the price of admission was only $3 it was not worth it. Couldn't spend more than 5 minutes in there. Don't go, at least when there's only 1 dome open.

After a taxi to the distant location, discovered only one of three domes was open for viewing. Must admit that the one was interesting with unique ( never taught THIS Greek mythology in school) plantings , signposts and accouterments to accompany.

I grew up in Milwaukee and visited the Conservatory when it opened over 50 years ago. In its early years, the three glass domes were avant grade with a show dome, a tropical dome and a desert dome. It was a great place to visit, especially during cold Milwaukee winters. Now age has decreased their appeal. The last two times... More

I LOVE THE DOMES! But I think it important that people know that of the three domes, the desert and tropical domes are closed and in need of major repairs. They will be closed for a long time. Only the show dome is open. I would be very disappointed if I went there only to find out that 2/3 of... More

Visited at end of July and only one of the 3 domes were opened. Still charged $3.00 to get in and was nice, but took all of 10-15 minutes to view the dome that was open. Nicely maintained and easy parking, but felt a bit ripped off.

Its a nice place to go on extremely hot or cold day, but can go any time. I like the view of domes from outside.

I've been going to the Domes for many years. That alone should give the feeling it's a great place to visit. If you're gardener or plant lover, outdoor enthusiast, or just need something to do for a couple, or few hours, you shouldn't be disappointed here. The seasonal dome with its changing themes give repeated visits something to look forward... More
