We went on a Saturday afternoon boat tour that took us to 3 different bars along the river for the start of a bachelorette party. The price was great and it included 2 drinks per bar. Although they didn't offer a full bar you could choose from beer, vodka/lemonade, or rum/coke. The first stop was this warehouse/dance club type place that was a little strange. It was empty besides of the 40-50 or so people that were on our boat. This bar didn't serve any food, which was a bummer because we were there the longest and were starving since the tour started at noon. The third bar we went to had a full menu and we were able to sit at a table outside overlooking the river and had lunch. Overall, it was a fun time!

We did the Sunday 3 brewery boat tour. We had a blast. We started at Lakefront Brewery. That tour was really good and the better was even better. We took a slow ride down the river to the Milwaukee Ale House. They had a small tour and some good beers. We then visited Rock Bottom Brewery before heading back to Lakefront.

This was our 4th trip out with Riverwalk Boat Tours in Milwaukee and everyone has been as good or better than the last. Friendly staff, (bartenders, 1st Mates and Captain), a fun atmosphere (music, drinks, hors devoures, and great views of Milwaukee's lakefront and skylines) Well worth the admission price and a great place for friends, family and or coworkers to mingle after a long day.

Our 4 hour rented boat (no captain) stalled out about 90 minutes into our trip and we contacted the staff for help. It took them nearly the same amount of time for them to come see about the boat (in the meantime, our boat floated out past the barriers, which is considered a prohibited area… mind you, the boat had no anchor, so we could not prevent the boat from floating past the barrier). When the staff finally arrived, they got the boat to start and ordered us to return to the docks with the boat.

When I attempted to contact the company to settle this matter, a staff member by the name of Ryan domineered the conversation, during which he stated there was “documented proof” that we drove out beyond the barriers, and that had the Coast Guard caught us, we would have been ticketed. When I contested what he said, he called me a liar… and furthermore, refused to put me in contact with the higher ups or owner of the company, stating that their decision to not discount the trip was final, again based on the so-called “documented proof” that we deliberately violated protocol.

Do not waste your money with this company, because they are terrible.

This boat cruise advertises this: "Enjoy vodka lemonades, rum punch, and beer while listening to Reggae music. We will provide light appetizers and a lot of fun!" The music was not reggae (which was a huge selling point to our group) - but rather crappy 90s music that was blasting so loud it was hard to converse with my group without yelling.

The boat's condition was disappointing and subpar. It's a crappy, small pontoon boat with uncomfortable plastic chairs everywhere - which makes it hard to move around. This cruise is for young people who don't care about throwing their money away. The boat leaves from Pere Marquette Park and travels out to the lagoon area between Lakeshore State Park and Summerfest grounds. We took 2 laps around that and went back. Boring tour. It's essentially paying $28 to drink on a pontoon boat for an hour and a half.

For the high price of this cruise ($28 for only an hour and a half!), I was quite disappointed with the premixed drinks (that were full of ice) and also the appetizers. They included a disappointing mix of Kraft cheese cubes and bland crackers, 2-3 fresh fruits, swedish meatballs and small pieces of chicken.

The girl checking people in before the cruise was rude when I asked a question regarding possible cancellations (because it looked like it could rain soon). Please note: Even if the cruise is unable to complete the full hour and a half, there are zero refunds if the boat leaves the dock at all. This is just bad customer service.

I also thought it was extremely tacky for the bartender to say at the beginning to please tip as that's how she gets paid. Well I just paid $28 for this cruise, does that not even include pre-made drinks?! (For the record, I had 4 vodka lemonades and wasn't even buzzed.) Very tacky. I will never take this tour again.

This was a boat tour of the Milwaukee river and then a view of Milwaukee from lake Michigan. Some appetizers and drinks were included. It was about 1-1/2 hours.

The boat was a lot smaller than we thought and quite crowded. Also there was a covering on the entire boat, which was disappointing because you couldn't really see the buildings downtown too well.

The drinks were average. The appetizers were minimal. It was supposed to be a 'Funky Friday' cruise. We thought maybe a DJ would be there. They just had on an oldies radio station, which was good music but definitely not close to funky.

We would have had fun no matter what we did but will never do this again and won't recommend it.

I was part of a bachlorette party on August 19th. We chose to be part of the 9 p.m. cruise and when we arrived at 8:40 we were informed since there was such a large interest in the 9 p.m. cruise that a second boat/tour opened up and our party was split up. The staff was of no assistance and said they don't make the rules or have anything to with the website and that our party had to get on separate boats. We found another party in the same situation and switched boats with them, problem solved, or so we thought. We were on a boat with 2 parties of 20 people and since our party only had 10 we were kicked off the boat by staff. They would not give us our refunds and so I needed to go onto the other boat and ask people if they would be willing to switch with our bridal party. Not sure what the staff's jobs were because they did not assist at all during this time. Their response was "this is why one person should have booked for everyone so this s*** doesn't happen." I did not ask for a second boat to be opened up and if there would have been only one boat, like it showed online our entire party would have been on the same boat. I have been on these tours several times, rented the 10 person pontoon, and the 22 person pontoon. I have always promoted and encouraged family, friends, and co-workers to try the boat cruise. After Saturday and the lack of professionalism, the constant confusion, and complete chaos on the River Boat staff and the company as a whole I will not be utilizing their services ever again. There is nothing on the website that mentioned a second boat being available or after booking saying we were assigned to the yellow versus red boat. Something with the online system and the communication between staff needs to change because it is a lot harder for a company to get new customers then trying to maintain current customers. 10 people, from my party were absolutely disgusted with the overall treatment and experience and will not be returning customers.

I was expected a romantic quiet boat cruise and got a ghetto party boat. I asked for a refund and will never use this company again. AVOID it is awful and not worth the money

We had a nice hour and twenty trip down the river and up the lake front, found out a lot of things about the building and lakefront, nice if you are from out of town and good value.

More than expected, crew and boat were professionals. They took care of a large group of us. The views were incredible, thought it would be once in a lifetime adventure, but will do again.
