Review of: Pontoon Rentals
We used River Walk Boat Tours to rent a pontoon boat for a bachelorette party. While we were unable to use the entire 4 hour rental time, the time that we did spend on it was great! There was great communication and they just wanted to be informed on what time my arrival would be so they could get the boat ready. I would suggest getting there about 15 minutes before your rental time as there are forms to sign and everyone getting on the boat has to sign in. The person who checked us in was Kate and she was so sweet and answered all our questions!

Review of: Pontoon Rentals
Guided river-based trip in downtown MKE (localese for Milwaukee) that extends into the bay and includes a lighthouse scheduled for auction. The boat's lower deck has a bar and at least one cozy restroom (head).) The one that I personally inspected could easily accommodate 50 upright brooms with room to spare. The upper deck is open and uncovered in the bow (front) and covered in the stern (back.) Our guide provided plenty of architectural, navigation and historical facts, including why the town is nicknamed "Cream City," and wasn't above squeezing puns into his presentation whenever possible. (Fun for some, torture for others.) Most of us sat in the stern, which means we had a limited view of stuff directly ahead. The guide was on the craft's port (left) side and concentrated on structures and history from that vantage point. I had grabbed a couple of seats facing starboard (right,) so our necks go a pretty good workout trying to see what he was talking about. One previous reviewer complained of not being able to hear the guide. That wasn't a problem for us, thanks to a mounted speaker that carried his voice. Unfortunately three people sitting directly behind us (facing port-side) conducted a conversation loud enough to complete. Hah!

Review of: Pontoon Rentals
I booked a pontoon for 3-5 PM on Sunday, July 18, 2021. We arrived 15 minutes early. At 3:15 we still were not on the boat. I talked to the receptionist who called the man running the operation. We were on the boat at 3:20. We asked if there was a number in case there was a problem and the man said, "You won't have a problem." We went down the river when we noticed the gas gauge was on empty. We turned around to go back. I asked the man if he could put some gas in the tank and he said, "Oh, it's a broken gauge." I told him it would have been nice to have known that from the beginning of the trip. He also told us to go 5 MPH down the river, but the speedometer was also broken. We ended up having a short trip that was awful! I wrote to ask for a refund; I am hoping I will be refunded for such a terrible experience.

The boat ride was beautiful. It was great to see downtown Milwaukee from the water. I highly recommended this

We rented the 10 person pontoon boat for a bachelorette party. It was super easy to reserve a boat online, and once we arrived on the day of our reservation, we were out on the boat within 10 min! The price was awesome for a full 4 hours up and down the river as we pleased… we were able to bring our own food/drinks/cooler, and the speaker system was actually pretty good! My only minor issues were that we didn’t know to have an AUX cord to plug in our phone for music (we had our own Bluetooth speaker and then listened to the radio.) I also would not recommend going all the way to Barnacle Buds (the southern “limit” of where we could travel) because there is quite the industrial lull surrounding you on the way there, but there were plenty of bars to dock and hop off along the route. Overall - this was a highlight of our weekend!
