We get to the area a few times a year. In warmer weather they have different events going on. Take your lunch and picnic there with family. You can buy kites of many sizes. The view of Downtown Milwaukee is amazing n beautiful. Plus it's another place by Lake Michigan that us Milwaukee residents love.

Beautiful views of downtown and Lake Michigan. I was here on business and stopped here to sight see. Beautiful, some areas could be cleaner, but this could also be due to the fact that I was there right after Summerfest.

This is a must do when visiting Milwaukee. Walk the waterfront, go out on the pier, watch the sail boats, take a walk, run or rent a bike and do the bike trail. Rent a kayak or paddle boat. Then buy a kite at the kite store and have fun. Bring a sweater or fleece as it is usually windy.... More

This park is great for all the kite festivals and is located near Discovery World and the Milwaukee Art Museum. The best thing about the parks is that there is a Ice Cream shop inside the park. It is also great for flying kites and picnics, and even weddings. Bring a kite or a picnic basket for your family picnic... More

We walked around during the day and were surprised that everyone was able to "stake out" their spot for the fireworks in the evening. It looked great! Families were picnic-ing and enjoying the day. Everyone was friendly!

If you are downtown this is a nice little park to have a lunch, walk around or fly a kite at. Normally very clean and enjoyable for the whole family

Great view of Lake Michigan with a lovely tribute to MacArthur. Exercise paths for biking, walking, or running. Near the museum ... $7 to park.

I spent quite a bit of time here the whole weekend I was recently in Milwaukee. I was staying quite close by at the County Claire and attended some events here also. On Friday night I walked to Juneau Park which over looks Veterans Park and checked out the view. Looked like a very large lake front park with lots... More

We stumbled upon this park while exploring the waterfront. Really wish we had more time to explore. A very nice place to walk, run or bike and enjoy the breeze from the lake.
