My wife and I are moving to the Menomonie area and have been trying out the local restaurants. The Waterfront is likely to become one of our regulars. It's small but comfortable. Having gone in the wintertime the deck overlooking the lake wasn't open and we are looking forward to going back when we can sit out there. We were there for lunch and with the snow, there weren't many other people there. I suspect it can really get hopping in the evening and likely a lot of fun. The menu was "typical bar fair" with some very interesting twists. We will require numerous return visits to try and enjoy. Needless to say the food we had was very good. Service was spot on - friendly and fast. We will widely recommend Waterfront.…

Met friends here in December to celebrate a birthday. We were immediately seated and we perused the menu. The chicken wings are always a great choice here (I highly recommend the garlic parmesan wings) as well as the fish fry. I also enjoy the patty melt with crinkle cuts! They have a great selection of beer, both tap and bottle and in the summertime you can enjoy outdoor seating. They have very reasonable food prices, excellent portion sizes, and fair beer prices (even better during happy hour!) Our server was Amber and she was very pleasant, attentive and smiley! Thanks for another great experience at Waterfront!…

Cool place on the water. It was raining so we didn’t sit outside, but will opt for that next time. Cheese curds were delicious. Ordered burgers and wings. Bloody Mary’s were great and you can order them mild, medium, and hot. Get the Spotted Cow in a bottle though. Draft beer lines aren’t clean. …

The ads looked good and they didn't lie. We were looking for a water view and the Waterfront B&G certainly has that. The only problem is that the deck at noon time has little to no shade and no table umbrellas. Sunny and mid 80s was too much for my first wife and me so we went inside. There is a public lot across the street but very little street parking. Since we had a dog in the car and the WB&G doesn't allow pets on the deck we had to find a spot with shade about two blocks away. The food was decent, I especially like the fact that the vegetable was grilled asparagus. Decent hamburger and my wife had a good grilled ham and cheese sandwich. I saw the cook forming the burgers by hand - no pre-pressed burger. Prices are good. Worth a visit.…
