Most of the flowers were gone when we visited, but those still there were beautiful. Nice view of Lake Michigan. Great place to go if you need some place quiet. Need to visit in the summer to experience the flowers in full bloom.
This park is truly a hidden gem. We found out about it by watching the episode of Around the Corner with John McGivern featuring Manitowoc. So one day in July we decided to take a road trip to eastern Wisconsin, with the West of the...More
Great place to visit for beautiful floral garden displays. Well kept grounds and free admission was a surprise. I wished there were more benches to sit a spell, as my 84 yr old mother got quite tired before we had seen the entire grounds.
We were biking the Mariners Trail joining Manitowoc and Two Rivers and decided to stop in to see the beautiful flowers and take some casual family pictures as our granddaughter from out of state was visiting. Four adults and three children between 11 and five...More

I have walked around the whole yard at times carrying a soda with me, and my mother was drinking a coffee as we walked around. I did not see any garbage containers around the yard to put an empty container into. Last year when I was there, some people had a blanket on the ground to sit and watch the carferry and boats on Lake Michigan come and go from the Harbor. I hope that helps you, its really a wonderful place to visit towards the middle of July and so peaceful. People with green thumbs will really like this place.
