We stumbled upon the West of the Lake Gardens during a brief visit to see family in the area. We had no idea this place existed until we saw it from our car. The garden, which used to be the lakefront home of the former...More

We stopped here for a little break to enjoy the beautiful gardens. The whole area was very well kept up and had a large variety of plants and flowers. Best of all, it was free! The location right on Lake Michigan made it even nicer.

A couple at breakfast in Two Rivers asked us if we had been there. When we told them we hadn't they showed some pictures they had taken there. We visited it that afternoon. Worth the stop.

Just a fun, relaxing extensive garden by the lake. Very uncrowded - you may be the only one (s) there in fact. Very nicely done and with interesting architecture buildings. Nice to unwind and also for kids to see. View of Lake Michigan is spectacular....More

We enjoyed walking around the grounds. Due to the cooler weather this spring/summer, the flowers weren't in full bloom, but it was still nice walking around the gardens. It would be beautiful to see in full bloom!

Truly a step into tranquillity, a beautiful expression of flower coordination along a 'great' Lake Michigan. Comfortable settings appropriately matched to that motif.

My husband and I have been going there for ages. Every time we get out of town visitors we take them here. The lawns are lush and the hug flower beds are immaculate. It is a very relaxing way to spend an hour or more.

Living within driving distance of this gem, I visit late spring to just breathe, relax and take in the spring blooming bulbs of daffodils and tulips. Just spectacular. Mid July I return to see the gardens transform into theme gardens with floral colors that are...More

I just added 4 pictures. Please bear in mind that a May garden will be vastly different than a July garden. Enjoy!
