When we were kids, we would wait for the river to freeze to play hockey. Now Manitowoc has a great indoor skating facility. Wow, you can skate in the summer. Just watched a youth hockey game there last week. The kids really put out the effort. Lessons in figure skating and hockey are available. There are open skating times. Skates are available for rental. There are concessions available. If you like to skate, this is a fine place to pursue your hobby. Although I miss skating on a river; and occasionally falling through the ice, this ice center is a lot of fun. Hours are always changing so I would suggest calling before you go there.
