Great Marina!
Aug 2021
A great marina. We stayed five days here to explore the area. Great boater lounge with free coffee. Mary is awesome and very responsive. You can tell she loves her job at the marina and is a perfect first contact for customers.

Beautiful scenery
Jun 2021
We walked along the trail to the lighthouse. It was a beautiful half mile walk out and then a half mile back. The lighthouse is currently not open (signs said the lighthouse would be open on July 4).

Nice Walk
Aug 2019 • Couples
There is a nice walk along the marina, and out to the lighthouses at the harbor entrance if you so desire. It’s fun when the Badger is in town and the people are let off the boat. Just a nice lace to take a walk. The wonderful Maritime Museum and submarine tour is there also.

Love the area. It was a huge huge bridge and a little on the scary side. Below are pictures of the bridge and lighthouse

More than just a marina
Oct 2018 • Family
While iin Manitowoc, we discovered the Manitowoc Marina which was a bit more than just a marina. The marina, itself, is well-kept and there are some beautiful boats, but there is more with the park and the lighthouse and if you check the schedule & are lucky, you'll get to see the Badger car ferry arrive or depart.

This place is so much more than a marina! If you have no boat, no worries! You get a wonderful park, with a trail past a wetland restoration, many waterfowl, views of the Lake and the river, and out to the lighthouse! You can even go up onto the lighthouse. Come at the right time (around noon) and you can see the Badger carferry arriving into port. When we were there, we got to see an expert kite enthusiast flying 6-7 beautiful kites at once, on a beautiful day! Great experience.

Nice view of Michigan
Aug 2018 • Couples
Nice walk out onto the pier and around the marina. If you walk out to watch the boats come and go, be sure to walk out to the lighthouse. And don't miss the Badger (ferry) coming and going. What a sight! Great to view at night too.

We will return!
Aug 2018 • Family
My son and I rented a tandem kayak. It was well worth it. It was the peddle type which was perfect. The workers were friendly and helpful taking the time to explain everything. We especially liked Isabel, what a professional young lady! She recommended a path that would help us tour downtown on the kayak and it did not disappoint. They have a variety of products and we will return before the end of summer!

Great Location; Enchanting Lighthouse
Jun 2018 • Solo
Our cruise boat docked right next to the Maritime Museum (again), and I walked out to the Harbor Lighthouse. It looks close by, but unless you can walk on water (I can't) it is a long way around -- probably about a mile and a half, each way. It was a nice walk, and I'm glad I made it all the way out there (and back).

Beautiful walking path to the lighthouse!
Jun 2018 • Family
Decent sized parking lot with beach access and bathrooms, right before you get on the walking path, past the bird sanctuary and right out to the lighthouse. Very nicely kept park area and marina. There is also a fenced in dog run area where you can take your pets. Pretty neat.
