The Hobie pedal kayaks are the best! Rent from Mary in the office. The young summer hires give excellent instructions and assist with kayak cast off. We have rented the tandem kayak several times, and find the trip up the river a pleasant experience.

A great marina. We stayed five days here to explore the area. Great boater lounge with free coffee. Mary is awesome and very responsive. You can tell she loves her job at the marina and is a perfect first contact for customers.

Not just a place to keep your boat. This is a very nice marina, with good amenities; and good people that work there. We have berthed our sloop here for the last ten years. The staff is very capable and friendly. There are small beaches at both ends of the marina. You can rent paddle boards and kayaks here. You can also walk out the breakwater to the old lighthouse for a great view of the lake and city. There are various charter opportunities for sailing and fishing. The marina is the southern terminus of the Maritime Trail that can take you up to Two Rivers (Trivers to the locals) and beyond to Point Beach Park. Rent a kayak and paddle up the Manitowoc River all the way up to Manitou Park if you want a pleasant afternoon. Or you can walk along the sidewalk that will take you pass the boat docks. You may even run into a friendly boat owner. Who knows, you just might get offered a boat ride. People fish for panfish and crappies along the shore. There is a natural wildlife area, across from the slip area, if you're into birdwatching A great place to watch a fireworks show.

If you are boating or sailing on Lake Michigan, stop in at the marina and walk on downtown Manitowoc. If you plan on fishing with your own boat, they have a wonderful launch ramp and they also have a fish cleaning station on the property.

Our first time here and such a relaxing place to just walk. Was very clean and well kept. Of course we couldn't go out on the marina itself but walked around it. Friendly people

They have it all, great staff, nice facilities and an easy to navigate harbor. Also a nice place for the non-boaters as it is a beautiful walk out to the lighthouse and also along Maritime Trail

While iin Manitowoc, we discovered the Manitowoc Marina which was a bit more than just a marina. The marina, itself, is well-kept and there are some beautiful boats, but there is more with the park and the lighthouse and if you check the schedule & are lucky, you'll get to see the Badger car ferry arrive or depart.

This place is so much more than a marina! If you have no boat, no worries! You get a wonderful park, with a trail past a wetland restoration, many waterfowl, views of the Lake and the river, and out to the lighthouse! You can even go up onto the lighthouse. Come at the right time (around noon) and you can see the Badger carferry arriving into port. When we were there, we got to see an expert kite enthusiast flying 6-7 beautiful kites at once, on a beautiful day! Great experience.
