June 21, 2020. Dead fish along the shore. Smells horrible. I would not risk to swim in this water myself, and definitely this is not for kind. Beach itself is very small even for the number of people who wants to swim with dead smelly fish.

The beach is happening place during summers and you can spend hours lazing about or in the water. It gets crowded during the afternoons so best way is to reserve your spot early in the morning. There is a 10$ entry fee but it is worth it. Get along some beach toys if going with kids.

simple, small beach. one entrance so people can get jammed up, no ramp for wheelchair or strollers. no benches around the beach, so no place to sit but in the sand - so if you don't want sand in your shoes, you need to remove them before you come down the stairs.

Not crowded for a Saturday. A little cooler than expected but breezy, sunny and beautiful! Great day out plus an Arts & Crafts Show going on in the park.

Beach fee is $10 but well worth it.

We purchased our passes at the kiosk outside the beach and received our wristbands in the morning. I didn't notice an age limit for a child pass at the kiosk when I purchased the passes. When my two teenagers went to get something at the car in the afternoon they were not allowed re-entry. The same lady who gave us the wristbands in the morning now said we needed to purchase two adult passes. REPEAT the same lady who was ok with putting a child wrist band on my teenager in the morning now said she couldn't use that wristband. Honest mistake on my part so I asked if I could pay the difference between a child and adult pass since I already paid for the passes in the morning. NOPE!!! They made us purchase two additional passes. I completely understood having to pay the difference for my honest mistake. The assistant manager George (--) and Ashley (--) ( the girl who let us in the beach in the morning with our original passes) were two of the more arrogant, pompous, unaccomodating people I've ever encountered. Not only will I be finding a new family beach to give my business to in the future I'll be calling the Lake Geneva City Hall on Monday to ensure they know what caliper of employees they have working for the people who are bringing business dollars into this city.

Our favorite beach. There's a fee to enter. Not big, totally affordable. Great water, clean bathrooms. Could use more toilet stalls and less shower stalls. Maybe more outdoor rinse stations instead.

Don't bring glass- we forgot we had Starbucks bottles in the cooler and they were confiscated. Unfortunately by the time you leave at the end of the day they are closed and you can't get them back.

There's so much to do in LG. Enjoy!

Geneva Lake is beautiful, no doubt. But the beach here is small, crowded, and totally not worth paying $7.00 per adult! There was a lifeguard, and it appeared well kept, but all my husband and I wanted to do was take some pictures, put our feet in the water, and walk on the shoreline. Not worth $14 plus the price to park! The city of Lake Geneva rakes in the cash with all the tourists, why charge for this little beach? Accessing natural resources should not be an exclusive opportunity- which Lake Geneva really wants it to be. Much better free or super cheap beach options at nearby lakes with far less crowding!

I think for an attraction like Lake Geneva they need to do a better job in making a better swimming area for families to bring the kids. The sand is dirty and littered with debris, they charge to get in for beach where you can only go abouyt 5-10 yards out. Not worth the money at all. Fontana beach on the other side of the lake is better but they also charge a high amount per person and you have to walk on A LOT of rocks very painful for about the first 10 feet just to make it to the sand. Lake Geneva needs to a better job overall in improving their swimming areas it is a serious after though and charging a ridiculous amount to use the poor beaches is an insult.

No parking, then paid $7.00 when we found a spot 4 blocks away. $21.00 to get in. You can't escape the lifeguard and mega phone..."no flotation devices past the orange buoys" "no diving off the pier" " no swimming under the pier" " no carrying anyone in the water past the orange buoys" "no balls pays the orange buoys" "no frisbees past the orange buoys" HOW ABOUT NO TOYS PERIOD! Hard to relax here for the day.

I love beaches and have been on quite a few in my long life. We live about two blocks from the Lake Geneva beach, so probably we aren't the best critics. It is crowded on the weekends (they say the city's population goes from 7500 to about 15000), but we usually go during the week and often late in the afternoon. It is a small beach -- about 50 feet deep and maybe 500 feet long -- but very pleasant and across the street from restaurants, a block from Main Street and local shops.
