We use to take our kids here during summer and was surprised to see that they now charge to park, go on beach and have many more restrictions. It seemed like a commercial spot rather than a fun beach for families now.

We checked out park as cheap access to beach. Riviera beach charges $7 per person and big foot is $10 a car. If beach is what you are looking for you may be disappointed. Beach VERY narrow and right on road, I mean it's like you are sunbathing on the shoulder of road. Not very relaxing, but cheap access to... More

The family visited this beach on a Monday and Tuesday. No crowds or hassle. Nothing fancy, just clean water, easy access and beautiful scenery.

Our stay there was exceptionally good. The showers/bathroom facility was updated & very clean. They have a very nice playground area, fishing section, and the swimming area was clean. You do have to cross a very busy road to get tot he beach area & most things are located very far from the actual site area's, but it seems to... More

We did family camping at Big Foot Beach State park during July 4th weekend. Altogether we were 7 families. We had multiple camp sites reserved. Noticed that for some reason our site was lot more specious compared to other sites. Restrooms were impressive. Newly built in 2015 with 7 private showers (not stalls), something I have not seen at any... More

We stayed at site #62 . Sites here are very close together and you dont have a lot of privacy. This was our first visit and the address we got was on the website with a quick google searchand got the parks mailing address. The address you will want to put into your GPS is actually 1550 S. Lake Shore... More

We walked on a trail that wasn't kept up. It needed mowed to be able to see the trail and had large limbs lying across the trail in two places that we walked. Not real safe.

This review is based solely on the type of campers we are. We decided to go camping last minute and this particular site was available. Price was reasonable and the weather was gorgeous. The bathrooms were just redone in may of 2015 and were visually beautiful from the outside. The women's bathroom had 3 stalls and 2 of the 3... More

Located next to the Geneva Lake (separated only by Lake Shore Drive).. Man attraction here is Big Foot Lake with 2 bridges across.. (Entire Geneva Lake used to be called Big Foot for the Pottawatomie Chief). .

We stopped by not really knowing what to expect. We drove in and the park employee was helpful. We did not have time to do a lot of hiking or exploring, but the part we did see was nice. Seems like good, well marked trails.
