This lovely 21-mile walking path, around Geneva Lake, takes pedestrians by impressive homes and quiet lakeside neighborhoods. A two-mile swath on the West End offers a manageable stroll, lovely views, and passes landmarks such as the Abbey Resort and Fontana Spa and popular local eateries like Chuck's.

Easy to get some exercise!

Just head toward the lake and go left or right and you'll end up on the path. Clearly marked but there's few stops for a bathroom break.

We walk portions of this 26 mile path every year. Would like to know if all of route is passable or not.

Had breakfast at Daddy Maxwell's and then walked from Williams Bay to Lake Geneva. 7 miles of wonderful views of both homes and the lake. Highly recommended!

Three of us, with a total age of 198, hiked this path on an overcast day and counted our blessings it was not hot or crowded. We did every step, every mile start to finish in under nine hours and loved it. Yes beautiful homes and gardens and be aware we are fit women who know the uneven trail and... More

The path is 26 miles long, so you probably can't walk it all, but a short walk walk is worth it. Start at the ferry dock downtown, walk past the Public Library and get on the path. You will have great views of Lake Geneva and get up close views of some of the amazing homes on the lake. It... More

After seeing some of these homes from the lake I had to get a closer look. Not only were the homes beautiful but each home had a different type of path. Some needed some TLC but others were great. I only went as far as the 'Zen' bridge (as my friend calls it) and it was by far the best.... More

The place is the beautiful historic Lake Geneva! Some call it a lakeshore walk until you start! It is an awesome walk at first, but becomes more of a hike and then you notice that you are walking through the back yards of some of the most ostentatious old and new multimillion dollar mansions on the planet! It feels like... More

We started downtown at the beach and went to Cedar point. The path was defined as you gazed across the lake seeing wildlife and wooded shoreline. We were lucky enough to see the Postal delivery at one of the docks as the postman jumped off the boat running to the drop box the running back jumping on preparing for the... More

It was a beautiful day! Found myself in Lake Geneva and walking along the most beautiful lakeshore. I started in town and walked a few miles in each direction. Either side did not disappoint. Amazing homes and lovely views of a pristine lake. A great way to spend a late summer afternoon.

We started out at Fontana, the South Shore 6 am. - I feel its the more challenging side, to begin with, heading towards Lake Geneva. They seem to have more area's that don't have stones, or a *sidewalk* it's my opinion, because It's less traveled, each homeowners yard is completely different, so do not expect a *sidewalk* experience thru out,...
