The tour was amazing and the instructors were so much fun and very knowledgeable. It was a cold day so it was only us and the two tour guides. It started snowing when we got there so it was very beautiful. You feel safe the...More
I wanted to say first of all that all the workers were awesome and super sweet. I went on the 2nd zip lining tour on Christmas Eve and the guides were in high spirits and friendly. They made the tour extra fun and encouraged me...More
I usually have Steph as my guide but hopefully I can zip with her next time. Kyle, Taylor and Bree were also awesome. I had a friend who needed a bit more help and they were super. They carried his crutches and never made us...More

Had a wonderful time here for a "day date" with my hubby. We did the high ropes course which was challenging, but fun. Our guide was awesome - his name was Rick I believe. I liked it so much I bought my family tickets for...More
Friendly and helpful staff made the boys and me (mom) comfortable as the boys enjoyed the canopy tour. They saw a variety of animals and loved talking about the long bridges and varying slides. Good WiFi and snacks so I was able to work on...More
We were the only two on the zipline tour today with Morgan and Wallie. They were awesome at explaining the course, humorous and could tell we were pretty comfortable so they let us have some "freestyle" time to spin and go upside down. A must...More

Thank you for your question. The High Ropes and Zip Line Canopy Tour are separate adventures. The High Ropes tests your endurance & is much more of a challenge adventure while the Zip Line Canopy Tour is the better choice if you are looking for more of a thrill with less physical requirements.

Hi We are hoping to go ziplining this summer (family with 3 teens and a 9 year old) - it seems that Montana Whitewater and Yellowstone Zipline and Canopy Tours are only outfit in this area, and seem to maybe be part of the same company. Can anyone comment on their various tours, esp doing the Galletin river tours vs. Ranch tours?

Is this up near Big Sky? The operators there have been around awhile and should be fun. Most people head in to the park. Be sure that you don't mind missing something if you decide to burn a day going somewhere else. With the kids, one fun thing to do is get up early and be the first to arrive to swim at the Firehole river. You can bodyfloat a bit (and it is free). If you don't get there early (8 or 9 am) it gets crowded and isn't quite as special.

Good Zip Lining places? (4 Replies)
Preferably one that has more lines than it does climbing. I saw tree top adventures and it had way too many ladders and climbing and almost no lines to actually zip line on. I also saw Canopy Tours, but I didn't find much information on it. Preferably around Boston. I'm driving up to boston from NC but I'm up to any suggestions. Also, NYC is another preffered location for it (:
