A tour of Geneva Lake is the best way to see the homes along the lake shore and learn about the area. The Geneva Bay tour is just 1 hour, so it fits nicely in a day of shopping and walking by the lake. The...More

This was my second trip on the Santa Cruise, but my first time with small children. I bought tickets online which went smoothly, and "check in" at the Pier 290 was also efficient. The cruise itself was nice enough, but once we got to Santa,...More

It was great cruise! It would be nice if children could see Santa in person and get a little treat from him.

Nice peaceful cruise on a great lake. Food was average to a little better than average. We had great service from an efficient young lady.

definitely geared towards kids. It was way overpriced for the substance and length of the event. Would not go again

The narrator in the cruise was very good. It's an enjoyable cruise. The boat was clean and spacious. My only complaint is parking. No proper signs where to park for customers going to the cruise.

I have done the Lake Geneva cruises many, many times and this one was excellent as they always are! There was a great musician who played summer fun music (think Jimmy Buffet). The weather was gorgeous and we had a wonderful time! All around the...More

We didn't get the email about the change in time so we had people standing out in the rain. We had elderly people and infants, so it was difficult.

The Morning cruise during the summer includes the mail delivery which is very fun to watch. But all of the tours have excellent narration about the history of many of the significant properties.

A Day in Port Canaveral (4 Replies)
We are arriving on the Norwegian Cruise Line Jewel on a Monday and would like any suggestions for activities in the area. We have been to the Space Center and do not especially like staying on a beach. Is there public transportation to any of the air boat rides. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi Annski, We prefer to use independent contractors or vendors for our tours. You need to list your interests and preferences on what to do. Hiking, kayaking, city tours, whale watching, culture, native history. Sitka has a lot of old Russian influence. Very pretty, compact town, easy to get around on by walking or taking all day city trolly to go from place to place. The National Park on edge of town is very nice, with totem popes and nice nature walk along bay. Eage-Raptor center is nice...More

Cruise on Norwegian Cruise Line in the next couple of weeks. (13 Replies)
Hi We are cruising to Alaska on NCL and looking for suggestions for excursions. There are lots offered by the cruise line, but we want to pick something out that gives us the best value for money & the best experience of Alaska. Places we will be looking at are Ketchikan, Skagway and Juneau. Any tips/advice appreciated. thanks

Without knowing your interests, it's impossible for us to have any idea what you'd enjoy. For example, I could recommend the 6 hr. kayaking/glacier hike/possible ice cave excursion in Juneau...but if you're not in good shape, you wouldn't be the least bit interested. Or the trip from Skagway to Emerald Lake...but if you don't have a passport, you can't go. Pick out 2 or 3 excursions in each port that sound like a possibility, then post back here for suggestions.
