This park was a highlight of our trip to La Crosse. The whole family enjoyed it. The friendship gardens is an absolute must. It was so amazing to see the barges along the river. Beautiful walk after dinner and close to our hotel.

It was a little colder out than I probably would have liked but it did keep the pedestrian traffic to a minimum. The views are lovely when the sun is setting. I loved the quaintness of the Hiawatha statue and the artisan bronze statue of the two children and dog. Great place to hang and reflect.

A great little park just off downtown La Crosse which is perfect for a stroll along the Mississippi. Often there is some activity going on - music in the bandshell or just a place to hang out. At the north end can also walk through a garden that features La Crosse's sister cities from around the world.

We found this park by accident as we had to stop on La Crosse for the night. La Cross is a great place now in my top five places of all in America. So clean. So friendly. We will make sure we make it back for a longer trip

Very well kept scenic place. River walk is very nice. I sure helped it was almost 70 degrees in November. The whole downtown had a good feel to it.

Such a beautiful view... Walking the paths, sitting on the benches that overlook the river, strolling through the garden or attending the many activities that are hosted in the park are all great things to do on your visit.

Very nice park to view the river and has nice walking path along the Mississippi. Has a Friendship garden located inside and also is the park to get unto the LaCrosse Queen. During Christmas time is lite up with millions of Christmas lights that you can walk through or drive.

Our family stayed downtown and wanted a break from shopping. Easy walking distance from downtown. Beautiful walking paths to watch river activity. Nice benches for resting and viewing. Lots of people watching with other walkers, riders, etc. Great photo ops too with the river, wildlife and multiple vantage points.

Nice Park right on the river! I'm sure it is beautiful in the summer and winter too! The Japanese Garden would be beautiful in the summer! They were just starting to put out their holiday lights, so check it out at night when all the lights are up!
