Easily made reservations online. Sat on the top deck, as did the other riders. Nice views of both the Wisconsin and Minnesota side of the river. The cruise went from where we boarded in La Crosse to near Lock and Dam #7. Saw a swing bridge in action. The tour guide gave interesting facts about the river and its history. Would have to have her talk more. There was a snack bar on board.

We've taken more than a few boat tours, and this was about average. The boat is reasonably well-maintained, the young guide was pleasant and upbeat. This was the sight seeing tour, while there was the interest of the swing bridge and lock and dam, the "sights" along this stretch of the Miss are a bit scarce. However, if you can get a nice sunny day with calm winds, being out on the river is a dandy place to be!

We (my fiance and I) were on the Saturday evening dinner cruise for my birthday and it was wonderful!! The staff went above and beyond to accommodate everyone, especially with the way our world is today. We enjoyed a 3 hour trip up the river and got to see the turnstile (I think that's what its called) railroad bridge. Unfortunately didn't get to "lock thru" because of barges but a great experience all around. We have been on other sightseeing cruises and this one was exceptional! The dinner was great (I need the carrot recipe!!) and the staff did a wonderful in serving everyone promptly! WE will be back, hopefully on our honeymoon :)

We have been on several small MS riverboat cruises but this was the worst. Pizza and beer, what a joke. With all the great places in La Crosse to get pizza they served Dominos which was cold and awful. Beer was lukewarm. You would think on an hour and half cruise the captain would have done some type of narrative, nope other than saying hello and good bye that was it. Don’t waste your money, it was 90 minutes we will never get back.

Hello, Michelle, I apologize that your experience was less than extraordinary. You are correct that we do not narrate the pizza cruise, since it is more of a cocktail cruise. If you're looking for narration, I recommend our sightseeing cruise! This cruise we tell you about the Mississippi River, the La Crosse area, and some history about the area. We have since looked into the beer being warm and the pizza being cold, and have to apologize this occurred on your cruise. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We serve unlimited tap beer, unlimited soda, and complimentary pizza on this cruise, and we apologize that the service fell below your expectations. We hope you would consider joining us for our narrated sightseeing cruise in the future.
