Great wine and great views. We sat outside while enjoying a wine flight on a beautiful September afternoon. We were on our way to Door County. I think I like this winery better than the others we visited

I never would have guest this was a winery from the road when passing. We were told about this one by another winery in the area. Again the staff was wonderful and we had a lot of fun. This is another must stop if up in the Door County or Green Bay area and you love wine. It is off the beaten path. they have a unique wine that is picked and processed after the frost. Enjoy.

We had guests for the weekend and Cold Country had their Harvest Fest scheduled. It seemed to be the perfect time to make an initial trip to the winery. Our visit wasn't what I pictured nor were our guests impressed. The band was playing in a pole barn with a gravel floor. Folding tables and chairs were provided for the audience and crafters were set up around the outside edges. The arrangement seemed "cold," perhaps because the barn was oversized for the small audience that had gathered. I decided to try one of their wines and selected a sweet white wine from the list posted behind the bar. What I found particularly strange was that I was told I could purchase a glass with the Cold Country logo or I could rent a glass for my drink. Rent a glass to enjoy a $5 glass of wine? Really? I don't like the idea of plastics going into our landfills but likewise, the idea of renting a glass struck me as a really bizarre idea. We listened to a couple of songs while swatting flies and decided we had enough. There was nothing warm, friendly or homey about the experience.

Went during event. Small cheese plate. Crackers sold in zip lock snack bag. We had to beg for ice bucket to keep our wine cold..it was a kids sand pail...what??Owners heard complaining about too many beer drinkers at event. Owner very crabby and unprofessional. Old warm beer. Bad acoustics in the barn. We won't go there again.

We have gone to this winery twice and both times the person that was working there were so friendly and helpful in helping us to tell us about the wines that we were tasting. The wines are all very good and the place is very warm and inviting to be there tasting the wines. We also were served some chocolates to go with one of the dessert wines, which was yummy.I would highly recommend people to try this winery out when in the area. My wife and I both agree that we like the wines even better when drinking at home with a good meal. Will try to get there more than once a year, so that we will have always some of their wines at home.

Great wines! Staff was friendly and helpful. She explained everything very well. Tasting was free for 5 wines. I think we ended up buying 3 bottles :) But will stop back next time we are in the area. Don't forget to stop and pet Vinny the vineyard dog too! They carry reds, whites, ice, and dessert wine. Delicious!

This is definitely my favorite place to go to buy wine. So many are just amazing! The owners take a lot of pride in their business and it shows. They also have music regularly during the summer and fall months. Very worth the trip!

This new winery has impressive products. They specialize in cold weather varietals I wasn't familiar with and was frankly skeptical of. I was very impressed especially after learning they opened in May of this year. The staff was very cordial and informative explaining the different wines and their attributes. They have already won some medals for their young winery. The beautiful tasting room/bar is part of a gift shop with an outdoor area where you can sit and enjoy a glass along with some wonderful Wisconsin cheese. And best of all the tasting of your first five wines is free!
