The building that houses this art center is very lovely but the art included was not what I would consider high quality. Since the art being shown changes, maybe we just were there during a mediocre show. We all agreed that it really wasn't worth the drive over there.

The Anderson Arts Center has very fine traveling as well as permanent exhibits. The gift shop provides interesting locally made art works. During the holidays, there is a wonderful exhibit of locally decorated Christmas trees. Fun.

The Anderson Arts Center is nice but really is a little too small to be a first-class operation. The displays on the first floor are a bit sparse. The displays on the second floor are somehat scattered making it hard to assure that you see everything. It also suffers from deferred maintenance. Plus, the web site is not always up... More

I agree with the other reviewers who have written about the spacious galleries and quality art work. I'll add that it also houses a delightful gift shop with reasonable prices. The views of Lake Michigan and the scenic shoreline are awe-inspiring, too. The 1861 Durkee Mansion at Kemper Center is only a block away. Call to check on open hours.

You will not find the grand masters here, but the Anderson Arts Center is well worth the visit. There were three exhibitions here the day we visited, Wauwatosa, Hats and Bradford School. The Wauwatosa Artists presented a very fine selection of paintings, mainly still life or small landscapes, three from each artist and mostly available to buy for $300 $600.... More

Small but cozy. Has 2 floors of Art works and a lot of local talent, which is pretty good. There are several Art Museum's/Gallery's in the immediate area and this is one of the best. They do accept donations if you wish to contribute. Has a gift shop as well.

The art community is thriving in Kenosha. We have been to several exhibits. Holiday season decor is always exceptional and there are many special events.

Local artists are highlighted. The building and grounds are lovely, with stunning views of Lake Michigan. Exhibits change frequently, so make this a regular stop!

This was originally a private home; however, I think it is for the best that it now houses artwork, and quilt displays, and anyone can visit and enjoy it. Just walking from room to room, upstairs also, is a pleasant experience.

A large mansion located on Lake Michigan, the Anderson Arts Center hosts wonderful art collections which shift from time to time. It has an excellent gift shop and in the summer is the location of terrific concerts. It can be difficult to find for the casual visitor to Kenosha, but it's worth looking for.
