Absolutely loved this place! Had fun seeing all the babies especially the fawns. I am still in awe that I was able to pet such a beautiful, timid creature that even liked my hand. At 4 weeks old it was so precious! Hubby loved the...More

We visited just before Labor Day week-end and once again enjoyed our afternoon visit at the walk. The grounds were a little rough from the summer visits of many and the recent rains but we were able to navigate without any issues. A nice place...More

In my opinion the price to get in is a bit much, I understand they have a lot of animals they need to take care of. But for my husband and I and our 3 kids it was $60! The kids did enjoy it and...More

We were in the area and decided to go see the animals. The biggest problem for us was trying to push a wheel chair through the park, we ended pulling the chair backwards most of the time because there is no real path that is...More

I'm not 100% sure what this business does? I don't know if they take in wildlife that needs care, or what so it's hard for me to judge them when I don't really know. Deer run free in the park. Petting zoo is great for...More

I am sure in its day it was a nice place but we found it depressing. The admission for two adults and one infant was $29. Perhaps this fee can help out the animals. It was a 90 degree day and I would not suggest...More

It is always fun visiting this area with our family and grandson. The deer come up to you and eat out of your hand, there is a petting area, western area with a jail, refreshments and plenty of good shots for pictures and memories.

I am a sucker for all things wildlife, so couldn't pass this up as we were driving by. First of all, it was a rainy day in the height of tourist season so I won't hold the hordes of screaming toddlers running around against the...More

Fantastic opportunity for children to get close to and learn about animals. This was the third grandson I have taken to Wilderness Walk and all three left with smiles and later conversations about what they saw and did there. Considering the smiles and memories made...More

We planned a trip to Hayward to take in the fishing hall of fame and thought going to the Wilderness Walk would be a fun attractions. But paying $24 dollars for two seniors? Not going bother going in.

We found $1 off coupons in one of the free hayward lakes travel magazines, sorry I can't remember which one, we picked them up at Walgreens in town before we went. It still cost $58 for 4 adults, but it was worth it.
