Growing up in a small town the one thing I miss in Green Bay is access to a beach/lake setting without having to travel a long distance. This is a nice swimming area, great life guards and employees. Snacks available if wanted, can picnic outside the lake area and go back to swim. Nice playground on grounds both inside lake... More

Very nice place to swim, clean and well run. Lifeguards very involved in safety of kids swimming. Fun!

This is not a place to bring children younger than 10. The water is super murky and it's very difficult to watch your child. I was in the water with my six year old and lost sight of him for a moment even though he was feet away. He slipped away to a place over his head while I had... More

My husband and I love going to Ashwaubomay in the summer. We will go by ourselves or bring my nephew. It is family friendly and always clean.

The nice thing about this place is the price. Ashwaubenon resident or not, it hardly costs anything to spend the day here. The older kids are able to go off into the deeper areas where the smaller kids can spend time in the shallows. The staff and lifeguards are great and attentive.

Learned about this park when my niece and nephew came from South Dakota for the Aurora BayCare triathlon here in 2014. That was a fun event and this year 2 more of my nephews joined even with rain on race day. My boyfriend and I went swimming once and it was ok, but lots of kids and teens there. Will... More

Probably one of the highlight swimming holes in the Midwest. The raft with diving platforms in the middle of this lake offer many hours each day of relaxing water fun for thousands. A definite must see if visiting the area. Bring your sunglasses!

It is nice and well guarded. It is a nice location foe elementary age school children. There is a cost to swim, but it also has other activities

I met friends her and brought the kids. It was safe and the water seem relatively clean. I don't know if they treat it or how they keep the fresh water fresh. My only negative comment would be the scenery. Metal fence, open field...it felt very industrial. More attractions are needed along with more shaded areas.

Read 2 reviews from SaHoppa & hinkgen (they both listed GB as where they live/Home Town)? I've lived in GB off/on as well. Made a visit Mid July 2014. It's a man made lake, the water is still opaque/mucky, not clean in my opinion, & most importantly: they still seem to employ young teen age employees "Life Guards" that should... More
