This zoo is great for everyone. Allow time to stroll the paths which lead you to the many animal exhibits. There's dining inside or pack a picnic. Wouldn't miss the pancake porkie breakfast before Easter and meet the Easter Bunny. The zip line and rope challenge is exciting for older kids and adults. There's even an area in the winter... More

This is a nice little zoo. They have many events throughout the year to keep you going more then once a year. Zoo Boo is a great event for kids, it's a safe Halloween for kids. All the treat from business that sponsor the event. Have take grandchild there for it several times.

We took our 12 year old and his friend to the zoo for a day trip. The Zip Line was fun and exciting. The animals are well kept and the exhibits interesting. I would recommend this zoo for young children as well as middle school children. We have been going to this zoo for 10 years and enjoy it every... More

It was ok. It was getting dark so it was difficult to see, the lighting isn't very good. As a result we didn't see many animals either.

Such a cool experience and such a fun place to be. Went with my friends children and they loved it. No crowds, super relaxing.

I've visited many zoos and wildlife preserves all over the country and this was a great fine. I was surprised by the number of animals, for what I thought was a "little" zoo. At $7 per person I was expecting a quick walk through. I was so wrong! You get really close to the animals, everything is clean and well... More

We went in mid July so it was scorching hot (and uncomfortable to walk around, but I am from Alaska so keep that in mind). The Otters were my favorite if you call them by making the kissy noise (like you would a dog), they follow you. It was adorable. Some of the exhibits were kind of weird, I wasn't... More

It's an ok zoo, nothing spectacular. There are quite a few animals but could be better for the price you pay for admission.

Did you know that the NEW Zoo receives no tax support for our operational costs? This means that we are entirely self-funded - which is very rare in the Zoo world. Especially AZA Accredited zoos (which we are one of) - and AZA zoos maintain the highest standards of care in the industry. We follow guidelines and policies that are... More

We went on a cooler day and a lot of the animals were out and about playing which was nice to see. Unfortunately the giraffes were more interested in their hay then being fed from the overlook but was still enjoyable. The otters were very playful and would come right up to the edge to see people.

The NEW Zoo appeared to be run down and dirty. I went on the Sunday before Labor Day and it was very busy. There was one checkout person who was taking care of the admissions desk, concessions and gift shop all by herself. Wouldn't you have scheduled extra help on a holiday weekend? I cannot put my finger on it,... More
