Lambeau Field brought memories flooding back to me, memories from my youth of the Packer glory years, but the Walk of Legends didn't do anything for me. We visited a few of the monuments, Bart Starr and Jerry Kramer, then called it quits. My favorite part of the little time we did spend was a decorated yard across the street... More

The huge monuments dot the stadium district's east side. The walk featured players, coaches, and eras. Nice to also see historical information about Oneida as well.

This is our first visit to Green Bay so we did the Lambeau Champions Tour and the Hall of Fame. We didn't even know about the Walk of Legends until we pulled into the Hilton Garden Inn and two of the granite towers are at the entrance. I read them and was very impressed with the information and professional appearance.... More

Great historical perspective of the Green Bay Packers. It starts as Lombardi Avenue and Oneida but also is on the street near the Brett Favre steakhouse.

Very poor info online and at the Oneida website. A simple map would have been so handy. The monuments were nice, however many of the players didn't have anything about them on the granite, just Oneida ads. I also found it curious as to how the players were picked, leaving out Gregg while having Fuzzy and Jerry., and leaving out... More

So much Packer history involves the GREATS that are featured on this tour. If you are not a Packer fan do some research before you take the walking tour so you have some feeling for what these men accomplished. Then remember they were playing and coaching against big, tough, smart, aggressive players and coaches and still won. Enjoy the tour.

The entire walk is a mile or more, but quite easy. The monuments pay tribute to past Packer greats, players and others. The descriptions of the individual achievements are carved in marble and are a bit cheesy because they have tried to rhyme everything. But it's worth the walk.
