Must see in Green Bay

The gardens have many interesting plants and flowers local to the area. They also display a lot of lights at Christmas time.

The gardens were gorgeous, this was a treat and who knew this was in the middle of the city. It was a beautiful evening, enjoyed it thoroughly.

Located off Packerland Drive on the west side of Green Bay near Northeast Wisconsin Technical College (can access from school as well). It looks good in all seasons. I was there in early October and they were transitioning out summer annuals with fall items. All was very nicely maintained and even more important good labeling of plant names.

A friend and I shared an afternoon in the garden for a much overdo visit to cash up on each other's lives. Neither one of us had been to the garden in a couple of years so it was fun to see how different areas of matured and what was new. The grounds are kept very clean and people working... More

We stopped in at night because they had a "family" night. It was mostly for the kids, but we were allowed to attend for the same price. The docent took us through the gardens and explained to the kids about the different seeds and how they get moved from place to place by the birds and animals. The gardens are... More

From reading the other reviews, I expected a good experience. But, I didn't expect to be so impressed. The gardens are designed and cared for with great thought and countless hours. Wonderful paved paths through the highlights and for the more adventurous, chipped wood paths to the outskirts. Layers of flowers and plants complimented by structures. Rolling hills in otherwise... My wife and I visited the Green Bay Botanical Garden during a getaway week end in late September. Given the timing of our visit I was not expecting much, but we were both all but blown away with the place. It was, for me, the most beautiful botanical garden I have visited. Even in September there were flowers everywhere. The... More

A most inviting and beautiful garden. Maintained to a high standard. Butterflies, bees and birds also love the varied and carefully planned garden. There are also some lovely views with plenty of park benches to relax and appreciate everything around you.

Colorful doesn't even begin to describe the GB Botanical Garden. I came here for a family wedding in the middle of July. The place was beautiful and definitely worth another stop to enjoy the beautiful garden.
