My wife and I visited the Green Bay Botanical Garden during a getaway week end in late September. Given the timing of our visit I was not expecting much, but we were both all but blown away with the place. It was, for me, the most beautiful botanical garden I have visited. Even in September there were flowers everywhere. The... More

A most inviting and beautiful garden. Maintained to a high standard. Butterflies, bees and birds also love the varied and carefully planned garden. There are also some lovely views with plenty of park benches to relax and appreciate everything around you.

Colorful doesn't even begin to describe the GB Botanical Garden. I came here for a family wedding in the middle of July. The place was beautiful and definitely worth another stop to enjoy the beautiful garden.

We go to the Gardens during the Festival of Lights, and just enjoy every moment. They do such a beautiful and creative job every year. I love how nature is incorporated into the light show. I love the horse drawn carriage. I love that they have a Santa for the kids to visit after they finish walking through the gardens... More

Beautiful gardens with handouts available to take home with information about plantings- for example how to plant a 3 sisters garden.

We went for lunch on the patio, very good! Great choices for food and lovely place to eat. So much to see and enjoy! Make sure you allow plenty of time to leisurely walk around. Take a camera, so much to capture. A little piece of heaven, we also got a membership.

I have seen botanical gardens in Chicago, Minneapolis, Milwaukee, and others, but this may be the best, certainly in the Midwest. Others may be larger, with ponds, etc., but this one is special. With only 5 full-time horticulturalists, but hundreds of volunteers, the entire site is very well labeled, even including plants in the green spaces between parking lots. Add... More

I showed up an hour before closing thinking there were still three more hours until closing due to Google posting incorrect hours. I asked the front desk staff if the place could be seen in an hour. She rudely stated "It is actually 55 minutes, that's when I close up." I decided to wait and return the next day-I verified... More

I expected to see pretty flowers, but was amazed to see such varied landscaping of trees and shrubs mixed with architectural settings. The plants are expertly displayed in an old apple orchard and the rolling hills allow for spectacular views. The streams that meander through the shaded gardens are a great touch. I thought I had attractive gardens at home,... More
