This stop is hilarious and hokey and so very small town. My sister and I made a little “news report” for our family’s enjoyment. It’s right on the main street, so why not?! Not much else to report; it’s a rock. In a house.

It is definitely a big rock in a house. You can’t get inside the house and looking in the windows doesn’t really show much. There is a small parking lot. Walk around to the back of the house to see the rock. The hill where the rock rolled down is now covered by mature trees.

I read other reviews that said the owner has hand written notes around the home for visitors to read and explore. Sadly, due to Covid 19 the door was locked in front, boarded closed in back. The site is in town, on the river road. Which makes it easy to find. I recommend parking in the street, as the road is busy and it would be unpleasant to try backing out of the small driveway. Since you may only walk around the property at this time, it is a very quick visit. The rock is truly something to see in person. It is worth a quick stop if you have the time.

This is an actual home that a rock fell into. Remember the signs along the road and read, “be aware of falling rocks”. Yea, they forgot to post one by this house. It is certainly a part of history. Stop and see this unforgettable story and leave a coin to keep the attraction going.

Dirty and poorly maintained, somewhat hazardous footing, moderately interesting, seems the owner has little interest in cleanliness and making it a worthy attraction.....
